OK, quick question.
I got a new TV. It's not the newest TV ever, but it's new to me, and it's pretty sweet. I tried hooking up my 360 with the component cables, and, with those I get a BRILLIANT picture but no sound. With the plain old RCA cables, the picture, while still amazing compared to my old TV, is pretty assy compared to the component cables.
Being that I don't really know anything about anything, I'm forced to ask...WHASSUPWITDAT?!

God I hate the fact all the independent companies are getting bought out. Hell, pretty soon, its gonna be like the music industry and be controlled by 6 companies.....though I dont even know if the video game industry has that many major companies to control it all. Well, let's count the major gaming companies: - Sony - Microsoft - Nintendo - SEGA - Konami - Namco/Bandai - Capcom - Electronic Arts - Ubisoft - Take Two - Square Enix There is more powerhouses in gaming than in music. However, in terms of releases per year, Ubisoft and Electronic Arts have no peers. Especially Electronic Arts. Basically, the way I see EA is that they are the Wal*Mart of gaming companies. That statement alone sums up several paragraphs I could type up on the subject.

The blue, green, and red on the component is only video.

Some TVs have to have the audio switched in the TV setup menus. Also make sure the 360 is set to the right audio output(Stereo or 5.1). If your going into surround sound land, thats a whole other mess of troubleshooting. *updated thought* Sitting at the eye doctors, while my pupils dilate. Do you have the audio RCA plugs plugged into the right input for the component input? So times you have to plug the audio into a weird spot. Remember that episode of South Park where Cartman gets his eyes dilated...I feel like that, probably look it too.

You forgot ActivisionBlizzard. Oh yeah...forgot about them. I guess it was easy to forget them, though, as EA IS beating Activision in all of their face-offs. For example, skate >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> any Tony Hawk game outside of Downhill Jam since Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3. The reason I said skate was better than any TH game besides Downhill Jam is, well that really isn't a skateboarding game, it is a downhill racer in the same vein as the SSX games.

Damn you Mass Effect and your goofy achievements. I'm gonna end up playing this game a billion times to get the achievements.

I kind of already want to start a new save w/ a different type of character. I'm pretty close to getting the level 60 achievement. After that I'm starting a new character to beat hardcore difficulty with. With that play through I'm hoping to get 2 more team achievements, and what ever weapon and biotic achievements I can get. After that I'm done until more DLC comes out.

Anyone play Mass Effect on easy then hardcore? I'm trying to see where the difficulty difference is. So far easy is just the same as hardcore to me.

Now I'm playing on Hardcore and... well, I really don't notice much of a difference there except for some enemies having better shields and stuff like that. I've only died a couple of times. Then again, I'm using a soldier character instead of Vanguard now and using the expensive Spectre assault rifle. Speaking of Mass Effect, I downloaded Bring Down The Sky but still haven't gotten around to playing it... been too busy blowing up hordes of giant ants, big robots and various other alien scum (and obliterating Japanese cities in the process) with ludicrously big weapons in Earth Defense Force 2017's co-op. EDF! EDF! EDF! (seriously, EDF 2017 is awesome. Blowing crap up has rarely been as much fun, and it gets bonus points for the obnoxiously cheap B-movie presentation)

Oh god I really getting bored and no im dying to play 360 again. When I called the guy to get a repair started I told him this was the 3rd time that this has happened and I was curious if there was a faster way to get it done. He said since it was my 3rd time instead of the 4 weeks they could get it done in two weeks. Good thing I have my wii becuase I would go crazy without games for that long.

Bully... so not worth it. Beat the game 100% in a day and a half.
Good thing the trade in value is still very high.

I still haven't been able to find Bully for the 360... it should have been released over here two weeks ago, but I haven't seen it anywhere. Some problems with the shipping or whatever, I don't know. But... a day and a half to complete the entire game? Damn, that's not good at all. I guess that means I won't be buying Bully at full price, then.

First, I had the PS2 version, so I knew the shortcuts and how to "outsmart the game". Second, once you beat all the Geography classes, it reveals the locations of the rubber bands, gnomes, and cards. Plus, the game itself is only approx (I've never done the math itself) 8 hours, so most of the game is going from location to location. Blah... I might trade that in with a bunch of games, and the money I saved on my car tax to get a PS3... but if I did, I'd only do it for The Show and the blu ray player...
