To be fair, everything's old on the Tom Green show. The only interesting bit is when people from a certain website call in and ask about Glen Humplik call him stuff like a fat---
You know...

I can't believe most of you don't realize it's a bit. The thick Southern accent should have tipped you guys off that he was doing a character (and not a very funny one).

Tom Green still has a show? Well played. Honestly, I'm far more perturbed by someone still thinking Tom Green should have a show (which, by proxy, means they think he's still relevant) than I am with Fred Durst looking oldish. On the other hand, if he still has a show, but he's got guests on the caliber of Fred Durst, I'd wager that they're not that relevant after all.

I kinda had a feeling it was a bit. But where's the punchline? The punchline is that he's decided he's funny and can play characters on comedy shows. Nobody, besides Durst himself, ever said it was funny.

Tom Green rarely had a punchline. He was one (of many) that confuse "weird and slightly uncomfortable" for "humorous." EDIT: In that picture, he looks like a slightly miffed love-child of Derek Jeter & Roger Clemens...

Yeah it's obvious this is a joke from about five seconds in. And it's pretty damn funny too.

Its a joke?
Now maybe its like 99% of Tom Green jokes and is intrinsically not funny, but it seemed like an interview to me. Especially were Tom gently nudged Durst from topic to topic.
If it were a Tom Green skit then there would have been minutes of uncomfortable silence and Tom repeating some random word or phrase past the point of naseau.

Except Fred Durst doesn't talk, and never has talked like that. It's only been three years since he last released something sounding normal. Maybe Tom Green wasn't in on the joke, eh.

One of those Tom Green jokes that are funny because they're not funny in the least?

Meh what do you want? Andy Kaufman does stuff like this and its labeled as genius. Tom Green and Durst do it and they are complete fools. Its one of those things where they were out to entertain themselves, its a good thing too because I bet nobody see this show except for Green his parents, and the guest that night.
