Remember, no pain, no gain! The chemo hasn't made you feel like the last bout before. Take that as a sign that this one is working!

First I see Trudeau shilling some type of quick-fix diet pill (with some blonde co-host), and then he 'smoothly' transitions from fad diet pills to natural cures that are banned by the FDA? Talk about randomness! THAT right there should tell you about they type of con artist he is. I saw that not too long ago, Fuzzy...and the surprising thing...the blonde co-host IS THE SAME BRITISH CHICK FROM THE BOOK INFOMERCIAL!!! The nerve of this guy! Pretty obvious this broad's in cahoots with him, wouldn't you say? Not only that, but he also had some MEGA-MEMORY system which I guess didn't work too well either. But yeah, Quake...he almost had my money too, buddy. I saw some copies of it at Wal-Mart and kinda gave it some thought of buying it, but I seem to have some sort of a sixth sense located in my gut that when it goes off when I'm about to do something, most times I do "what it says." I know...it's called a gut feeling...but this happens quite a bit. So I saw the informercial one night and figured I wasn't sleepy, so I'd jump back online and do a search on Trudeau being a fraud and got quite an eyeful of stuff. He apparently, like Wikipedia says, is a convicted felon, ran illegal Multi-Level Marketing scams, so on...and one site in particular that I found apparently had some kind of interview with him, but Trudeau sicced his lawyers on the website...so much for free speech. Then later on that night (man, my timing is impeccible) he was on Paula Zahn Now on CNN...good lord, this guy's a bait and switch artist! Really went on the offensive with Paula. So yeah...for those of you thinking of getting the book...if you haven't been conviced up until this point by now...save your money...or find a copy in your local library. And double sorry that this guy got your hopes up, Quake. He got mine too, considering he and I share the same viewpoints, but too bad he had to take the route that he's taking. He'll get what's coming to him.

Yes, he probably has got millions of people's hopes up, as well as made millions. I think the government needs a special task force to keep an eye on get rich quick, and get healthy quick schemes. Some are probably legit, but especially with terminally ill people, looking for a miracle cure that the "government doesn't want you to know about"..... Also there is a drug that actually does seem to cure a rare type of cancer in children. That's the great news-success against cancer. The bad news is that not enough children get this certain type of cancer to make it profitable for the manufactuer, so they are going to stop its production. This is an outrage! So in ten years, after the last doses are already used up, or expired, and someone's beautiful child happens to get this certain type of cancer, that child will die because his/her life is NOT worth a company losing money to save! There's been stories about this in papers, and on tv's yet I haven't heard of the government stepping in to help make sure this drug remains available. This is not meant to take shots at the government, I only wish they would help to protect us. Billions of dollars are used for research, now they have found a small success that does save lives, and the company will stop it. Give the patent to a super huge company that cares about saving lives, and will sacrifice the almighty $$$. Anyways, that's my rant for now. Take care, and get checked out. They say cancer will effect almost half of the population, and early detection is your key to survival, so don't ever put anything off, just do it! 'Quake

The only reason Trudeau is able to shill his book on TV is because of our 'Freedom of Speech' laws...they allow people to advertise books, no matter how bad their previous criminal history may be.

Yeah. I work at a radio station, and we had him on our morning show. We started taking calls from listeners, and they were More pissed Than Luger on superbrawl saturday.
I've never had to use the censor button so many times in one morning show!
Hail the 7 Second Delay.

One would think that St. Jude's would be chomping at the bit for something like that and would be able to use it...but no...it's sad...and ditto to your sentiments about it being an outrage. This makes me glad that, at the moment, I'm not a slave to the pharmecutical companies products and I hope I'm not anytime soon. I can't even begin to imagine what the bill was for the vast amounts of pills my late father had to take was. He pretty much had to take a mess of horsepills of various kinds after his bone marrow transplant. I'm sure the pharmecutical company they came from could have cared less...long as they got their money, be it from out of pocket or from insurance. But one thing did strike me a bit curious though, Quake, as far as "get rich quick, and get healthy quick" schemes went...and do forgive me if I'm out of line, but this company you're affiliated with that sells the mangosteen juice...that's not one of those kinds of schemes, is it? It's not like Amway or Quixtar, where you get some kind of profit for getting people to buy that particular product? Just curious, is all.

Well...it seems as if Mangosteen IS providing the users with a good service (alleviating pain). So in this case, you're getting what you pay for. Kevin Trudeau doesn't offer his customers crap.
I was watching 20/20 the other day, and John Stossel did a story on Trudeau, pretty much exposing him as a fraud. He said that those who have claimed to have been cured by Trudeau's methods did so because they either had psychosomatic symptoms, or their illnesses were very acute and went away quickly.
They then played footage from a previous interview in which Trudeau claims that the University of Calgary did all this research that is pretty much in line with what Trudeau promotes (about the FDA being criminals and not wanting us to know about certain treatments). Stossel brings this up, and says that 20/20 contacted the university, yet no such research ever existed. Trudeau's response: "Well...this is shocking..." (or something like that). He then promised to get the interviewers records of said research, which, of course, he never did.

Trust me, I'm not getting rich off that mangosteen juice. I do claim it has helped me with some conditions, but obviously cannot say it cures cancer. We weren't in it for the money, just trying to spread the word of something that helped me. Others who tried it found some success for their ailments. Honestly, I'll probably take that out of my sig soon, as I originally had hoped for a cancer cure, but it hasn't done it for me. It helped with arthritis, but now I take morphine for pain, and may have no use for it.(Josie! Pack the bags! They're onto us! We're moving to one of them islands!) 'Quake
