Glad to hear he's doing well. I hope he gets a push when he comes back. He deserves it.

oh that's what Happen to Stevie.
REally he's one of my favorite personalities in all of wrestling, because first and foremost Wrestling is mostly about personality.
Hmm no wonder he sorta just dropped off.
Vince is definitely a big stevie fan, I mean Vince has always been a fan of wrestling. I think we must all think this. Business man first, fan third...
THere's gotta be reasons why STevie is kept on, why guys stevie has promoted to Vince like Punk and Colt, have got contracts. And why he's kept on the roster. Willing to give anything at any cost to himself, but never selfish always willing to give younger wrestlers a great match.

That reminds me of an interview where Vince Mcmahon vetoed the idea of a battle Royal winner becoming WWE champion, because God forbid someone like Stevie Richards become champion. The fact he mentioned him by name and then the camera cut to stevie going "YEAHHH!" was hillarious.

May not be the most over wrestler on the roster, but I hope he gets well soon.

Best of luck Stevie! As an aside, I see they liked to point out he worked for another promotion without insurance, when the E isn't always the best place to work for and suffer an injury

Hugely underrated performer.
I didn't know he had all that going on in his life. I hope he get's well soon and returns better than ever....WWE best give him promo time too!
Ya know, as time goes on....Vince McMahon might actually be a decent human being. Joey Styles doesn't seem so bad either.

Didn't they bring Stevie out on RAW during the "search for Vince's son" thing - because on WWE.com, he was like in 1st or 2nd place (god bless the internet fans) in a "who's his kid" poll? Vince's reaction: laughter.

It's funny how Stevie is one of the guys most deserving of a push, but the reasons behnd that are why he doesn't get one.
But seriously, he's one of the best and here's hoping for a speedy recovery... I miss that guy.

Big Stevie Cool rules! I hope he is going to be ok. He was starting to get a semi-sorta-kinda push on ECW with that Kevin Thorn thing. Maybe the reason it was dropped is cause of this. Anyway I think Stevie would be awesome with a title run. Hell have him heel against Punk. Those matches would outshine anything else.
Second note, I like the raspy voice as well. lol watch him sound like Dr. Phil or someone like that now!

Wow.. I remember when Stevie didn't have the raspy voice.. infact, I always am weirded out by the voice because I always think of early ECW Richards before that short, rather horrible WCW run.. especially before Raven got there.
I remember his debut on Saturday Night being interviewed by Mean Gene..
Gene: So Stevie Richards.. what moves do you bring to the table? Stevie: Well.. there's the Stevie Bomb. Gene: What's that? Stevie: My version of the PowerBomb. Oh and I have the SteviePlex. Gene: Which is? Stevie: When I do a suplex. Oh and my finisher, the StevieKick.

I think it is safe to say Stevie has a lot more dedication than most of us. I mean, how many of us would go through all of what was described then keep on trying to come back to work for someone who doesn't appreaciate you anyway?
