That WWE.com exclusive promo was pretty funny.

I never thought it would happen but I groaned when I heard his music last night. Mostly because I'm so tired of him. Don't get me wrong, I love Foley as much as the next guy. I just recently bought and read his 3rd book. I just think its time for him to go away. He's not bringing anything to the table anymore and he's just become boring. Now, I could be proven wrong and I hope I will be but at the moment, I'm not thrilled about seeing him. ..and yes, he put on some weight. So have I, so I shouldn't be passing judgement. Agreed. I too was a huge Foley fan back in the day but sadly I just got tired of his act of just coming back to shill for yet another book and job to whatever curtain jerker is the flavor of the month. Plus hearing somebody constantly running themselves down like he does in promos does not get fans to want to get on your side. Look at guys like The Rock and RVD. The fans cheered for them not much because of their moves or their look but also because their characters had confidence. Like when you cheer for them you know you're rooting for a winner and you're part of something big. Like the song goes "I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints."

Reminded me of Capt.Lou Albano. The Captain dropped a ton of weight after retiring. Almost literally. Which means Foley is the anti-Albano, especially considering Foley can write a readable book.

The only people who truly hate Foley are whiny smarks that only started watching wrestling around the Attitude era.
Give me a break.
