I chose the triple "RKO" one for "Good", because you didn't offer a "good" option.

It's been pretty bland. Then again...Orton's pretty bland so it's pretty much what I expected when he won it.

October 7, 2007 - March 30, 2008 (more then likely We are about 3 months from it ending..... What do you think. I think he has what it takes for a very good lengthy heel-title run... But he gets his ass kicked WEEKLY. Save for Orton taking out Matt Hardy, its sorta hard to buy him as an assassin. More like "Assassin of Dudes who lost their Appendix." Speaking as one of those that no longer has their appendix... I'm a little scared of the guy right now...

I don't think the reason it has been ever so slightly below par is Orton's fault neccesarily. Before Jeff, both his feuds were with guys that were just returning, so of course they had to be thrust into the title picture immediately and made to look like wrestling gods in order to maximise the impact of their return. That's not Orton's fault, that's just what had to be done.
Now he is in an even feud with Jeff, it is something new and different. And I think Orton is looking the better for it. It isn't predictable, and Orton actually gets to look a more credible heel again instead of playing punch bag for HBK and Y2J.

It feels like he's just waiting for the right time to lose the belt, rather than being a strong, definitive champion.
As if he's just saving it for somebody else rather than making it his own.

Has been very "Meh" so far. He's better as the cocky, arrogant bastard that he was in 2003-04.
Now he's just bland and boring.

Nowhere near as good as I had hoped for, but had Cena been around for a good feud it might have been a different story. Agreed. Orton has a lot of potential but he's booked to look way too weak.

Can I say it's better than Meh, but not quite amazing. That's a big gap. How 'bout, it's been pretty good.

The Orton era has been the epitome of "meh".
His matches are usually fairly good, with a decent psychology. But I can't get past his dazed/bored look, even when he acts psycho, he still looks like he just woke up 10 seconds before.
If a bland-on-the-mic face can still pull it off, a heel champion HAS to get tons of heat via his promos. And to me, Orton has been failing at that.

Makes Cena's reign look good. Yes, I went there. You rebel, you.

He could use some better booking and uh...not getting creaming all the time.
Honestly, I love him as champ, though. He is at least credible. If HArdy doesn't get the strap I hope he gets the chance to evolve a bit more.

i think it would be much better if he had gotten a new belt...with the spinner belt it feels like hes just keeping it warm for cena to come back

I like RKO. Hes had good matches with HBK, and had a good match with Y2J, but other than that its been pretty... eh. So yea, I voted meh. That is what I was thinking. It started off awesome at No Mercy where he came out looking strong, imo but, since then they have done nothing to keep that up. HBK kept kicking his head off and the only match he won was gimmicked to hell. Then the Y2J "feud" ended with Jericho winning due to JBL attacking him. Even the Hardy feud will be more remembered for Hardy's Swanton off the Titantron than anything else. Its been all Orton's opponents than anything Orton.

A new belt would help. Not losing all the time also.
If he had as much emotion as he did during that cage match or the spunk he had during Randy News days it would be more accepted. But I prefer him over HHH anyday.

Promos haven't had any attitude really but the matches from it have been great, especially HBK and ESPECIALLY Jericho's.

Orton's title reign has been pretty good. Too bad the rest of WWE tv has been infested with midgets and other bad comedy skits.

I kinda like that he's not really feuding with any one person for a really long time. It keeps things fresh and is making a main-eventer out of Hardy...unless they bury him right after a couple of losses, of course.
