WTF? A lot of people here would rather pay 20 dollars than see it for free? I picked the "They should be free" option. Seriously! How about because the company would go out of damn business?

How about because the company would go out of damn business? That's why I suggested the massive amounts of advertising if it were to be free. The money would simply come from the advertisers instead of the fans.

They should sell 'annual passes' that gives you all of the ppv's for a reduced price. Like say..... $200, which would boil down to less than $20 per show.
I'd do it.

I think $30 is ideal. Much over that and I wont pay for it. I think it's because there are normally are three of us that watch it together, and $10 a piece is somehow easier for me to justify than anything over that...even if it's just a few more dollars.

I wouldn't mind if they scaled back the non-Big 4 PPV's to $30, kept SSlam, SSeries and the Rumble at $40 (and extend it 30-60 mins?) and keep WM at $50.

It'd be nice if the lesser PPVs were $20-30.
I'm assuming they've done some estimates and have decided that if they marked down a PPV from $40 to $30, they wouldn't get enough extra buys to compensate for the decreased price though.
You've got the people that go somewhere to watch it/watch online (price doesn't matter to them)
You've got the people spreading the cost with 5 of their friends who are coming over to watch it (If they want to watch it, they'll split the $40 just as easily as they split the $30...not much improvement here).
You've got the people that buy every PPV already (Money lost here, since now they're spending less)
This leaves the smaller subsection of buyers: The ones that occasionally buy the lesser PPVs and watch them alone/with family...not splitting costs. Would that many more of these people buy the PPVs at $30 to make up for all the people above? Probably not.

I always thought the 30 dollar price was fine....and 50 for wrestlemania, since it is longer
