Sad to see him leave us, especially at such a young age. RIP

Like I said in "Ask RD", this news is absolutley devastating, and our collective prayers, thoughts and best wishes are with John and his family.

Oh, man.
It's always rough to see one of the wrestlers you grew up watching pass away; it's even more of a bummer when he's one that you've been in contact with. I won't claim to have known the big guy well, as I didn't- however, we did cut the odd promo on each other (he goofed on the 'pretty boys' in my avatars a lot, even when those 'pretty boys' were the Bushwhackers) and he answered some of my questions on the questions thread and elsewhere. It was rad talking to a wrestler I was a fan of as a kid, and it's gutting to see him go.

Wow, Quake....I may call myself WrestleCrap's top heel, but I've got tears in my eyes. Thank you for all you did, all you gave, just...thank you for everything. I treasure the fact that I was able to support you during your fight, and I know you gave it your all. Rest well.

R.I.P. Mr Tenta, you will be missed.
Even though I hardly post here, I do lurk a lot. I've always respected and admired you for your friendliness and modesty. I don't know too many wrestling legends who actually took the time to interact and befriend so many different people when you obviously did not have to. But you did, and I - we - love you for that.
You are a man of integrity, kindness and bravery. Something many of us in this world should strive to be like. Again, you will be missed. I think to many of us, this really isn't a good-bye. It's more like a "see you later."
My condolences go out to the friends and family of Mr. Tenta. His legacy will live forever through his devoted fans.
R.I.P. Mr Tenta.

Thank you John for all you did in life, in and out of the ring. And thank you for the time you spent here with us, talking, discussing, and answering our questions. It was truley an honor to be able to have you here with us.
I just want his family and friends to know that you will be in my prayers and I know you wont be forgotten by the members here that John touched.
Rest in Peace Earthquake, You fought a great fight and now your pain and suffer free. I didn't get to meet you here, but I hope one day I will get that chance. Goodbye John and thank you.

I believed he was going to make it.
It's such a shame.
Rest in Peace, Quake. You never gave up, even to the very end.
