Favorite Moments from 2008 Royal Rumble???

*The Crowd chanting at the Great Khali...."You CAN'T wrestle!"

*John Morrison/CM Punk lasting an incredibly long time in the Rumble. You know....I'm actually sorta liking Morrison now. I guess I got over his steroid-bust stupidity.

*Notice that those two, with others, probably were gleeful as hell to be briefly working with Shawn Michaels, who definately was, or must have been, an influence to them.

*Snuka/Piper, and the other RR fighters stopping, all with the look of amazement and..."what the hell?" Then go back to brawling.

*Hardy's entrance, and during the match...before many people finally realized that no, he won't be champ....just like deflating a balloon. Oh well.

*Cena's Return. Again, I've said before that I'm not the biggest fan of his Hogan-esque push....but admit it, some of you Crappers were peeving off at the inevitability of Trips winning the Rumble. Better Cena than Trips.

-Seeing the Jeff video package for the 100th time.

-Seeing Flair actually win a match again with the Figure 4.

-CM Punk's momentary interactions with Undertaker and HBK.

-Punk and Morrison visibly in plain view marking out over Piper/Snuka.

-Getting in to the YAY/BOO thing with Cena/HHH again.

the push Morrison got in that rumble was great!

he spent half the time with HBK... and pretty much seemed to dominate him throughout most of it

- The smark crowd. Say what you will about smarks in general, but they add a much more electric atmosphere than most casual crowds you get.

- Undertaker vs. HBK again in the Rumble match and the staredown Taker gave HBK when he eliminated him.

- Shelton Benjamin running in and being on a role until WHAM! Sweet chin music. It's even funnier when you think of Benjamin's theme music (Aint no stopping me NOWWWWWWWWWWWWW)

- Cena returns. It was expertly done even if I'm not a fan.

Don't know why, but watching Morrison perfectly execute a springboard spin kick on Foley made me jump out of my seat, also Taker brawl with Punk made me feel like a kiddie again

and of course Shelton getting HBKicked out of the Rumble for the third year in a row

My favorite thing was the crowd's reaction to Cena. It's deafening cheers when his music hits. Then like 2 minutes later, half the audience goes "oh yeah, we hate him, right?" and suddenly starts booing him. LOL.

I think Cody Rhodes being booked as goos as he was might have something to do with either Michael Hayes not wanting to piss off Dusty, or Dusty being a booker himself.

I liked:



-Snuka showing up at MSG.
-Piper showing up at MSG
- Snuka vs Piper at MSG while everyone in the ring stops to watch.
-Undertaker headbutting Snuka and then staggering.
-Cody Rhodes knocking Undertaker off his feet with a dropkick.
-Cena's Return.

-Also, the credibility of the entire MSG crowd's "smarky" tendancies being completely thrown out the window by means of exposure by hypocrocy. Remember, MSG has never booed Cena on ppv. The last time they were there was WM 20, where they went nuts for him because he was "undercard". Now, he comes out, and they erupt with joy and glee, then, say "oh wait, we're suppossed to boo Cena", and then start booing him. Two things happenned: #1- they showed that they only booed him because It's what they're "supposed" to do, because they cheered him earlier at WM20. #2- They showed their true colors by cheering him when he came out (combine this with WM20), then, after a few minutes, started booing him for the first time. I wonder what Cena did during those few minutes. The quick decision showed that they had a predisposition to boo Cena.

It was a great show.

-Cena's return. I haven't marked out like that in years.

-The crowd backing Edge, and Edge's victory. Just getting closer to Edge vs Taker.

-Morrison and Punk lasting a long time. I was hoping that one of them would have been in the final four. But hey, they still lasted a long time.

-Miz and Morrison working together and not eliminating each other. There's always that risk with a team thrown together, and when one of them eliminates the other it leads to the breakup. But it's awesome to see that the WWE didn't do that. I've really enjoyed them as a team.

I loved cenas return, I went legit nuts and it made me a cena fan for life! I wanted anyone not named trips or batista and when taker and shawn got eliminated I thought we had no chance! I thought number 30 was big show or one of the hardyz but they wouldnt be able to take out trips so when i heard cena's music I had to change my pants!

Other than that I loved each and every time morrison was able to stay in the ring he stoel the rumble!

I enjoyed starting a marella's gonna kill you chant at taker and shawn for the 15 seconds santino was in the ring!

I loved how edge caught mysterio to win his match.

But the moment of my rumble experience was chanting "Next World Champ" at Pete Gas who was in attendance as a fan andh im laughing and telling me to knock it off
