I think the fact that they have gotten these guys to a point where your first thought isn't, hey it's those guys that were on Tough Enough, is the biggest accomplishment. But actually Morrison/Nitro got there during his MNM days.
They've actually made it.
There were some that couldn't overcome that and build their own character afterwards. Like Maven, 99% of his WWE run was that he was "that guy who won Tough Enough". When he turned heel it started to get a little bit better, but still never enough.

Nope it's Cody Rhodes and Bob "Mr. Stiff" Holly, who won it for no discernable reason at the 15th Anniversary Raw

Nope it's Cody Rhodes and Bob "Mr. Stiff" Holly, who won it for no discernable reason at the 15th Anniversary Raw Because, kayfabe wise, Cody and Bob are obviously two of the greatest tag team wrestlers in the world today, duh. Their great teamwork, timing and mastery of the details of tag team wrestling via their countless hours of training and dedication to that field allowed them to do so.

that was great. it seems just not too long ago no one cared two shits about these guys. putting them together was a great idea, and they have both come a long way.

that was great. it seems just not too long ago no one cared two craps about these guys. putting them together was a great idea, and they have both come a long way. I still really don't think they're that awesome, but I have noticed improvement from the start of things...for example they don't have inane conversations during matches.

Which reminds me....Miz's hat is still undefeated, right?
