Is it just me....or does this smell of how WCW was killed on the Time-Warner network(s)?
[I'm not saying that this is the death of WWe, but doesn't it just seem to eerie that Time-Warner (or at least Warner) is part of the whole CW thing???]

Why not Saturdays? Thats usually when they put it on when they ACTUALLY show something on fridays (UPN.Thursday) plus it's right before a mojor PPV (I would be laughing (We are less then 24 hours away form *Insert Crappy PPV Name* !) On weeks where there are PPVs, that would mean 4 days of WWE in a row... scarey, kinda...

Let's just end the brand split and throw them all on Raw.
Jimmy Wang Yang for the title picture!

Let's just end the brand split and throw them all on Raw. I agree, end the brand spilt immediately! It would solve many of the problems of the E, at least short term, and may even off set the decay that has unquestionably set into the company in recent years.

I saw this on another website www.brutesports.com/articles/204762934.shtml....What?! That's exactly WHY it'll effect you! You're losing the viewers that were watching Smackdown, one of your HIGHEST RATED SHOWS! Dumbasses...absolute dumbasses...

Maybe if American TV didn't have so many ad breaks, it would be easy to fit more in

Let's just end the brand split and throw them all on Raw. Jimmy Wang Yang released Fixed! thats what will happen if the brand split ever ends. The brand split gives guys like Wang a chance to shine. I still don't get why you brand split haters can't see that. I hope it goes to Mynetwork TV and they should move it to Weds or Thurs.

The money the CW pays to air Smackdown! would normally be offset by what they make in ad fees. However, since wrestling doesn't draw a lot in ad revenue and doesn't fit in with their main demographic (meaning they can't sell the time in a package with other shows), they may be losing or breaking even with Smackdown! where if they put on another show (even if it draws slightly lower ratings) they would be doing about the same or potential better.

While at the same time pretty much resulting in all the SD and ECW undercard guys going straight to the unemployment line. Don't believe me? Well to be fair I don't know and...we'll never know until it happens!

If it didn't fit their main demographic, they wouldn't have shown it. They wouldn't have made it the show they built up from UPN, they wouldn't have put it in it's debut promos and they wouldn't have built it up as much as they did. ESPECIALLY with their move to Fridays. CW just dropped the ball. They knew what would have happened and they still did it. And they got success out of it. Edit: And here's something CW should have tried to do. Get shows that fitted with Smackdown's demographic and advertise them during Smackdown. USA does it fine and they're a cable channel. Sorry, I just find this stupid and lazy from CW. They couldn't make a hit work so they dropped it.

I can see WWE and MNTV actually fitting in with each other.
Well besides MNTV showing MMA. They also show a lot of Soap Opera type shows. WWE always plugs itself as a Male Soap Opera, so why not?
I'm hoping it stays on Network TV, because well a lot of the Smackdown audience don't have cable.

Makes me wonder where they can go if they can't get back on upn or cw or whatever that network is. I keep thinking FX but that takes it off of basic cable where a lot of people get to see WWE. One of the reasons I heard years ago is the reason there were so many minorities on Smackdown (Eddie, Chavo, Akio, among others) is cause more minorites who watch the show, can't afford bigger cable packages and can't get RAW on USA or TNN when it was on.
