I dunno about the rest, but you don't reach the position Cena's reached in ANY company without being a kiss-ass. Period.
See: Hulk Hogan.

What especially makes me think the Orton making fun of HBK story is BS is that it' d make him a better heel in real life than in the ring.

Hasn't he always been EDIT: As a sidenote to someone's comment about it's hard for younger guys in the WWE. MVP is 34 years old, and for the past 2 years has gotten what I consider to be a very good push and he managed to (beyond mine and possibly anyone else's initial expectations) to work in a manner deserving of that push. The idea of him being in RKliqueO out of feeling like he's not being treated fairly is silly as hell. Also, wasn't he in good favor with the backstage people because he studied matches from Japan in his downtime? See, conflicting sets of info here.

If the story is true than the writers are either idiots or wrestlers are morons.
If someone's the champion and the lead guy in the company he's going to have a good/close relationship with the boss. Unless Cena is supposed to pretend he's on Raw off screen "Screw you Vince, you can't see me!!!" etc.

Umaga, Rey, MVP, Orton and "two others".
That'd be a random ass clique.
At least the original clique was like"The white a-hole club".

Wow, some people are just trapped in their smark world.
"The new clique has none of the intensity of the original clique. I preferred the original version"
What the hell? It's not a gimmick. You're not watching it on TV. It's not based on work-rate or storyline consistency or position on the card. Why is everyone apparently judging it like it was some sort of pro-wrestling storyline?

Because in theory, it almost kind of is. And it's being judged because the Original Klique was really influential and it made sense for those particular people to be together...unlike the new people. Think about it. Original Klique: -Young rising stars and established maineventers -Clear connections between them that could explain the friendships formed between them (former tag partners, former storyline rivals, anything else business-wise that could lead to common ground) -Stranglehold on WWE Booking -Essentially carved the path of the WWE for a couple years -Ramifications of their existence continued to shape the scene of pro wrestling (and some might say it still does) New Klique (assuming it really exists): -2 young guys and 3 guys in their 30s -No clear connection between ANY of them. -All seem to hate HBK despite the fact one of them has never had a match against him -Only pull pranks on HBK, usually through juvenile and cowardly name calling (yes, I will call them all out on not saying crap to someone's face) So yes, this is why I consider the RKliqueO to be smarkbait

Even if this story is true, then I don't see how the Orton thing impacts us, the fans who watch the product. It doesn't say anything about them trying to band together to politic or whatever, just that they like to rib Shawn Michaels. I really don't see why it should matter to us if a group of co-workers are friends and decide to give one of their other co-workers some crap. Am I supposed to care, just because they referred to that group of friends as a "clique"?

Id like to think that its possible a new clique has formed backstage. I dont know if theyll ever come to have as much pull as the original, but it KICKS ass to see Orton leading a good mix of guys backstage.

I've heard the thing 'bout Vince and Cena before. This isn't new "newz" IMHO. I've heard it as well. That was around months ago.

So Orton's faced Shawn, Umaga's fought Shawn, Shawn has faced Carlito in tag matches, Shawn faced Rey at the Eddie Guerrero tribute show Now granted, he's never faced MVP but it's only a matter of time. This story can't be true anyway.

This story can't be true anyway. Actually I stand corrected. MVP did have 2 matches against HBK, both were tag matches pre-No Way Out 2007. And that's who I thought didn't have any matches against HBK. of course I knew he wrestled Orton, Umaga, Carlito, and Rey. But the fact of the matter is just TWO matches against MVP is enough for MVP to form an enemity of the man? Yeah, story definetely not true.
