Yeah, its being telegraphed......and we've called it for several weeks, haven't we?
Not that I or the crowds mind.
I wonder if inbetween RAW this week and WM 24, they'll have a Kennedy/Hardy program where Kennedy tags him as a guy who can't "finish the job," and especially for never able to win the MITB. Hardy fires back, "at least I didn't win the MITB and then lose it."
IC belt changes hands, as Hardy is being stoked for the WWE title sometime this year*, and Kennedy is now where he was last year: Pretty good mid-card, but not able to get over the hump like Triple H was for a few years.
In spite of teases, and the rest of the MITB competition, Hardy prevails and now has the briefcase.
*=Summerslam, or before/after?

Depends who else is in it. He'll definitely make it interesting to watch.
Did anyone else notice last night when he took off the belt, instead of handing it to the ref, he dropped it on the mat.
Not trying to start any trouble now, folks. Just something I noticed. Could've seen it wrong, but the ref had to pick it up off of the mat.

i hope Kennedy wins the MITB and we actually get to see where they were going with that storyline So given that there's a 97% chance of Cena walking out of Mania champ and a 99% chance of Taker walking out of Mania champ, you essentially want Mania 24 to be a repeat of Mania 23.

Anyone but Hardy and I think it's a mistake. Agreed. I could maybe see Kennedy screwing Hardy out of the win though and getting the briefcase, then those two having a feud for the case where Hardy eventually wins it from him.

Fact is, with Hardy booked last two PPVs of being close, but no cigar regarding the WWE belt.....his MITB win will re-enforce in minds of many fans that he can win it. If anything, if the guy doesn't take time off for his back, imagine a Hardy/HBK program after WM..........Michaels, knowing his career cna't take anymore bumps like he did at NO WAY OUT, wants another title reign, and programs with Hardy over the MITB case. Ultimately, in this Passing of the Torch storyline, Hardy prevails over HBK in a Ladder Match, with the MITB briefcase on the line.

I dunno, something about that just doesn't work for me. Maybe its because it may hurt more than help.

I would have been fine with it last year, but they've already done a deal now where Kennedy wins the case then loses it to someone else. He really looked like a dope the way he lost it the first time as well.

He really looked like a dope the way he lost it the first time as well. Exactly! Again, it would hurt more than help...and I mean that for both Kennedy/Hardy. I could see, in this Kennedy/Hardy feud, Hardy drops the IC belt which to help the sagging Kennedy...and to put the idea into fans' heads that Hardy possibly could lose MITB. Then again, it would be nice if a Hardy won a MITB for once.

they need to give Hardy a chance and now. I dont like him at all, but you cant deny how over he is. So yes, i've expected him to win MITB for a while now

Have him win MITB, lose when he cashes in. Win Rumble next year, finally win it at WM.

Jeff is the "loser that stay over" they wanted Matt to be some months ago. He will fall short from the BIG thing for a year before winning the strap. I'm not so sure he will win MITB.

Have him win MITB, lose when he cashes in. Win Rumble next year, finally win it at WM. Wouldn't that give off the perception that he can't win the big one and that he's a choke artist (prior to winning at Mania 25)?

Have him win MITB, lose when he cashes in. Win Rumble next year, finally win it at WM. That seems plausable. I don't like it, but could see it playing out easily.

I'm also interested in how the winner decorates the briefcase. It needs to be customized every year.
