If this ends with a statement that goes something like this:
"APRIL FOOLS! TNA was an 2002 April Fool's day joke between Vince McMahon, Jerry Jarrett and for some reason, Curry Man was also in on the proceedings. It was originally supposed to be Christopher Daniels, but he was sick and didn't show up that day. Lucky Curry Man was on hand, though!
But anyway, yeah, did we fool you? Yeah? Good.
The joke is over, so TNA Impact on Spike TV will now be replaced by Everybody Loves Kurt, starring Kurt Angle, Karen Angle, Hornswoggle and Scott Steiner. "
I'd mark.

This is indeed delibrate - there's even a section on the front page now, including the TNA story. It's designed because WWE are concerned that the website's not getting enough unique visitors, and want WWE.com to be the first port of call for all web users for all wrestling news, WWE or otherwise.

Finally... my dreams of an unemployed Michael Cole have a glimmer of hope! no not really. It's not like he can just put anything up on the Website without running it by anybody else first.

I doubt this is the kind of thing that needs that level of okay... essentially, I think they're "subscribing" to lots of "feeds" (don't know how else to put it) from newz sites... and this crap has come through the quality control. Seems to me like the ball was dropped on the parameters for this newz.

This is either really stupid on WWE's part, or it's absolutely ingenious. I haven't figured it out yet.
On one hand, it could be really smart for WWE to stop living in its McBubble and acknowledging that there are other promotions on TV for people to watch. It would encourage WWE fans to watch other shows, and it would make WWE seem less like it's trying to create an empire and rather it's just trying to be a large part of a greater community.
On the other hand, someone could read TNA results, say "wow I love that guy, I'm gonna watch TNA now".... and they could potentially love TNA and leave WWE.

Oh they'll be back ...just kidding I don't know that and to be fair the fact Jeff Hardy and Chrstian were in TNA was what made me pay attention to it in the first place, though now there's nothing about that old TNA.

We're gonna put all those newz sites out of business by posting all their stories!!! People will quit going to those sites and come to WWE.com instead and those newz sites will go out of business! That'll teach 'em!!!!

I think it's either WWE is ending the embargo (although I'll believe that when JR starts doing his weekly not in character reports again), or someone is seriously asleep at the wheel at WWE.com. It's just bizarre seeing news from other wrestling companies, and then seeing stories like "Vickie Guerrero: Queen Of The Cougars". It's totally bipolar. Plus, I wonder if Rajah and prowrestling.com will start putting up absolutely fake stories about WWE to test them?

Its ok to mention competition if say your refering to a new wrestler that held many championships there it gives the guy credibility and whatnot however just plainly advertising them means one of two things.
1: micheal cole wants to quit 2: wwe got hacked plain and simple.
