It wasn't Terry Gordy, it was Gary Albright... Taken from Albright's Wiki: On January 7, 2000, Gary Albright wrestled at a World Xtreme Wrestling show in Hazleton, Pennsylvania against Lucifer Grimm (real name Bill Owens). After being hit with a three-quarter facelock bulldog, Albright collapsed to the canvas. A worried Lucifer Grimm rolled Albright on top of himself to finish the match after which concerned wrestlers and ring crew tried to resuscitate him. Albright was pronounced dead shortly after being removed from the ring.So if I'm reading this right, he actually has a victory after his death. That's pretty awesome. reminds me of time mick foley was in wcw. facing ron simmons in his first title defence. he asked harley race if there was a chance he was goingto win to which the reply came "i don't care if he has a heart attack and dies in that ring you will roll him on top of you"

I think its legit that terry Gordy actually died 4 times? Like, he was declared dead. I think he continued to wrestle in Japan for years afterwards.

Yea it's sad he died, but you GOT to find some dark humor value in the guy who pretty much had to job to a dead guy.

I think Mike DiBiase, Ted's father, died in the ring as a result of a heart attack. On the Legends of wrestling 2 game, there is an interview with Bruno Sammartino where he tells a story of a guy dying in the ring with him, with accompanying footage.
