Last night's Highlight Reel was all the more reminder of why I missed Jericho: he's got mad mic skills. Fantastic segment, and I found out something that I didn't know: Jeff Hardy isn't limited to one-liners like "that's my painting, man!" He wasn't incredible last night, but he was worlds better than Morrison. So what did everyone think of last night's Highlight Reel?

That was the best segment on the show!! I couldnt be happier to have Jericho and the highlight reel back and with Hardy as his guest made it even better. The guy can make angle work with his skills on the mic!!

Do you think some of this Jericho hate comes from the fact he supposedly had a swipe at internet fans for 'spoiling' his return?

It wasn't bad, but I didn't think Jericho or Hardy said anything really memorable to be honest.

notice he upgraded to the Jeritron 6000 now.
according to Wikipedia it came out at the same time as the Vista
yeah i loved the higlight reel and now it has pyro and ballyhoo!!!!!!

I personally hate the new Highlight Reel set-up (except the Jeritron 6000 in HD). That was about the only thing that bothered me. Old old set with those weird standee thingamabobs and the blue, purple, and silver carpet with the gold Jericho silhouette in the center kicked ass. The new carpet looks like something you'd see on the floor in pre-school.

After "I'm not that dude anymore!" I think Jeff Hardy should be fed to BDV. I don't mean a match. I mean literally, like with a fork and knife.
Also, I'm not sure why so many people thought "cooking with Goldberg" was a holocaust joke. I mean I understand how it could be, but he did other similar jokes of wrestlers in out-of-place TV show settings. Why go there instead of assume it was intended innocently?

Jesus f***ing Christ. What a stretch. Obviously "Cooking with Goldberg" is a funny joke because the idea of this snorting, growling intense bald headed 275lb maniac filming a Rachael Ray style show cooking souffles and spinach dips is just a funny visual.
Holocaust never even crossed my mind - some people are so pathetic and uber-sensitive that I just wish they'd die and return the world to the normal people.

It was alright. I didn't see why "Smarter than Snitsky" and "Cooking with Goldberg". Was all that funny. If Cena said the exact same line he would have been bashed. ( I thought the Cena-Regal segment was funnier than the highlight reel). But I'm interested to see how this plays out between Hardy and Y2J. Hopefully some IC title matches.
