Lita deserved a nice goodbye segment, instead of being ridiculed by two guys who had done NOTHING for the business and ended up released shortly after that. I know kayfabe-wise it made kinda sense, but hell, kayfabe has been broken for more stupid reasons... A little tribute now, lost in the Playboy promotional fest, is too little too late. The RAW Special gave her a great send off, I thought anyway.

OH yes Lita, the woman who was utterly humiliated in her last real wrestling match for WWE
'05-'06 Lita was definitely her hottest

They've got it halfway right. It's cool that they celebrate Women's History Month, by showing women doing some great in-ring things. But "Check out Lita's HAWT bikini pics! CLICK HERE, YO!" I dunno. What? Looking at degrading pics is a form of celebration! Too Vince it is damn it!!!

well as you guys may recall, WWE celebrated Black History month by releasing Lashley. Does this mean one of the deevers is getting fired? I hope it's Maryse. Maryse; The Lost Diva. Hmm, that sounds like a DVD. Brooklyn Brawler: Yeah, so we were going to have her on one time for a French Heel, but that fell through. Then we did the Debut Promos for about six months, but that went the way of Brackus. And Then I think Bastista wanted to sleep with her, so we kept her around and just forgot she was on the payroll. Oh well, maybe Timbaland needs a new video.

Lita dug that hole for herself. When you're a celebrity and you do something foul like cheat on your fiance with his best friend, the public has the right to crap all over you. That's part of the price of celebrity. Vince only gave the fans what they wanted in this case. Lita's the the one who made them want it.

lita and matt were never engaged. Opps. Oh well, minor detail. They were together for years, it wasn't a casual thing. She still brought it upon herself.

WWE Will honor Woman's History Month with a Susan B. Anthony Butterscotch Pudding Catfight for the Woman's Title. Chicken Dinner to that man. They have nerve.

Though I completely disagree with them not doing it in almost every case. Though that brings me to the question... Who has done that? And it being common knowledge, them not seperated, ect. The only one I can think of is the other half of the Lita thing - Edge - and he got plenty of heat.

In other news, the KKK recently had a black history month tribute on their website, and Batista just finished filming an anti-steroid PSA along with Scott Steiner.

You make it sound like Cryme Tyme did it on their own without any permission from WWE and it's just a segment, not like it had any real bearing on any major storylines. And besides up until that point, she was being ridiculed by everyone from Duggan to DX and everyone in between, so it's not like it was the first occurence. And she was a heel as well, so if people were expecting a standing ovation, that just wasn't going to happen.

And besides up until that point, she was being ridiculed by everyone from Duggan to DX and everyone in between, so it's not like it was the first occurence. I just found stupid WWE picked Cryme Tyme to "retire" Lita. Even Duggan was a bit out of place, but at least Hacksaw had some credentials. D-X would have been ok: main event pranksters to send out a main event diva/manager I know it didn't affect any storyline, except the fact it was Lita's last appearence as active member of the roster It's not 1988, fans know who's leaving and why. Had it been presented as Lita's goodbye, she would have got a nice pop methinks. Replying to Veladus about "it was her fault because she cheated on Matt"... well, I still have to hear Flair or Hogan booed out of the building for their adventurous marital life. Austin's domestic violence hasn't dented his popularity. And hell, some fans even make a distinction between Chris Benoit the wrestler and Chris Benoit the murderer... And I should think Lita deserved to be ridiculed on her last day on her job because she slept with Edge? Puhlease...

It's not like they were out for her blood when she was still face or anything.

well for those pointing a double standard, no one knows or cares about wives of douchebags like Flair and Batista. Now say if one of them was married to someone well liked respected like say Trish Stratus and pulled some stunt that got her fired due to their actions, then yeah you might hear some negative backlash.
