Let's face it, as smarks few things in this crazy business called pro wrestling rarely suprise us anymore. We're plugged into message boards, 900-hotlines, dirt sheets amongst plenty of other mediums. Occasionally though, something does happen that raises our eyebrow and make us stroke our neckbeards. OCCASIONALLY. What might be exciting and "markish" for some is an audible groan and a blogged rant for others. When was a time you just couldn't bring yourself to mark hard for something when seemingly everybody (i.e. marks) else was?

Big Show`s recent return. Unless he stays motivated and keeps the weight off for at least a year I`m not interested.
Anything involving Brock or Shelton. Too bored to care.

Royal Rumble '07. It seemed that everyone loved seeing Undertaker finally win the Rumble but I was clearly behind Shawn during those dramatic final minutes. Never been a huge 'Taker fine, despite him finally randomly becoming really good in the ring 20 years into his career.
As a stark contrast I marked like a school girl when Cena won this year.

Jericho's return last year, it was interesting (sort of) but the fact that it was rather obvious that he was appearing kinda took away from the moment to me.

Oh and when Kevin Nash became the second invader after Scott Hall in WCW, it blew the entire thing for me before it began and removed ANY heat it should have held for me.

As an aspiring member of the "anti-mark brigade" I feel it is best to know one's enemy.
With that in mind, could somebody please, once and for all, tell me what "mark" is supposed to mean in this context?

HHH's returns in 2002 and 2007. Everyone was soiling themselves, I was prepared to get bored to sleep again.

I'll add my name to the "oh crap, Cena's back already, and he's gonna win the Rumble..." list
Undertaker winning last year's Rumble, and pretty much anything Undertaker-related since they brought back the DeadMMAn
Rey winning the Rumble and the WHC in 2005
Rock/Foley/Austin special appearences.
Hogan's posedown around the 2 minutes mark
