The Wrestling Observer Newsletter says Mike Adamle is making $300,000 per year from WWE, or about $6,000 per show. all he does is announce the hall of fame inductee's very very badly.

I don't think you can lower someone's agreed upon salary because he sucks. You could argue that they shouldn't have hired him in the first place, but they did. $300,000 is not an astronomical price tag for on air talent on a prime time cable television show.
