Oh I should add on that no matter how long you're in the buisness, you'll still get guys that want to stretch you. One time I was fooling around with Quackenbush and after accidently stiffing him on a kick he tied me into a pretzel. So don't take stretching personally.

Yeah to anyone who's ever done anything shoot. Whether you are an All American high school wrestler or a black belt in some kung fu. Don't go in with a big head and act like shoot is better than work, just be humble and mention it in like your 3rd practice. Don't just bring it up out of the blue because they could think you are bragging.
If they say "Do you have any athletic background" then you can be like "Oh well I was doing Kung Fu for a little while" and kind of brush it off like it's no big deal.
But don't be like "Oh I was a 3rd degree black belt and I'm 6-0 in MMA!!!"

heres what i remember from that day my friends came back from WLW training. They said this is what they were doing over there: 3 sets of 100 squats 400 half squats (even worse then the whole ones) 4 sets of 30 pushups 3 sets of 50 situps 4 sets of 25 leglifts, bicycles, scissors, and another exercise i forget not sure wat the exercise is called, but u jump over a guy on all fours, over one side and the other, side to side, 4 sets of 25 of those 5 sets of 15 two-a-days (stand, shoot your legs out to a pushup position, do a pushup, get back on your feet) 4 sets of 20 mountain climbers 4 sets of 20 half pushups 4 sets of half situps THEN we wrestled ive been involved in a wrestling school for almost 2 years now. Ive never done something as tough as that, not even close. Just... I was watching some DVD where they followed Homicide and some guys around, and they went to a school where some kids were training. I forget now who the trainers were, but they were wrestlers I knew (although, apparently not all that well). For the "warm-up," they laid out two rags in the ring, and the kids had to shoot off the ropes, drop down, push-up off the mat and over the rag, then again over the second one, hop up, shoot off the other side, and repeat. I wanted to cry for them just watching it, and they JUST KEPT GOING. I was like "SLOW DOWN, GUYS, YOU HAVE SO MUCH TO LIVE FOR!" Honestly, at this point, I've listened to so many sermons by Raven and Al Snow that I could take what I've learned from those guys and put it to good use, but none of that matters when I blow up walking four feet. Asthma and I smoke. Brilliant move. I have no idea how guys like Yokozuna and Big Daddy V did/do it.

Is there a wrestling school you can go to so you can learn to became a referee? I would go to a school, but I know I don't have the ability to become a actually wrestling, but being a ref seems to be cool. Of course I could always use my communications degree to run one a camera, run audio, etc, etc.

Samoa Joe wrote a pretty good blog that I would reccommend that ANYBODY thinking of getting into wrestling should read. Like he says, your training is NEVER over, and you should always be working out. Link plz!

I wanted to be a wrestler when I was little but......yeah, I'm pretty clumsy, and out of shape, lol.
Although, now I'm pretty interested in being a writer for a wrestling promotion. Does anyone know how I'd be able to do that?
