I always loved the Taker/Hart match from the moment I saw it. I liked the tension between Michaels and Hart and was always wondering while watching it how it will affect the outcome.
Guys, Great thread. HA HA HA!

You know.... as much as I'd like to stay within the confines of this poll. I honestly think the title win that meant the most for Bret's career was his initial IC Title win against Mr. Perfect at Summerslam '91.
Perfect was damn near unbeatable for the longest time... the few losses he actually got were against extremely top flight guys like Hogan or the Warrior. Bret was fresh out of the tag division, and it still seemed like an experiment to have him in the singles division. But after one f***in' hell of a match, Bret won and it solidified his spot as a singles competitor for the rest of his career. Each guy made the other look like a million bucks, and both were elevated afterward.
While a lot of people do praise it, I really feel it's a match that should be mentioned in the same breath as Savage/Steamboat, Flair/Funk, or Flair/Steamboat.
