How will it work after the match assuming Flair loses at WM? Will he get a standing ovation? Will the locker room empty with everyone standing on the ramp giving an ovation to the greatest of all time? Or will Vince come out and do the phlegmy "YOU'RE FIRRRRED" and make the moment more about him? Even if he gets a beatdown afterwards, he can still ruin the moment somewhat.

I'm sure he'll get a standing ovation from the crowd and as he exits the ring and up the ramp and J.R/King will join along with the crowd.
I hope they don't have Vince come out as it would be really ruining the moment,IMO.
Though they could have him come out and get beat up and still get the standing ovation, which is probably likely.

I'm hoping for the Michaels/Flair match to go on last, so the whole roster can come out at the end and give Flair a standing ovation. One of the greatest ever in his last match, closing out 'Mania 24, would be the perfect sendoff.
But I realize that the Triple Threat is most likely the main event.

He will get a standing O's all weekend, no matter what. At the HOF, during his entrance, after his match, and if he decides to appear on the RAW following WM. I also wouldn't put it past them to have Flair win, just to surprise everyone, and to give Flair a big win during WM.

It would be cool if they did like in taz's last ecw match. Where the roster watches from the stage. Maybe even throw in Reid Flair jumping Vince when he's about to pull the your fired crap.

Who knows, perhaps Vince himself will come out and lead the ovation.

I say Michaels goes for the figure four, and as soon as he locks it in Vince forces the timekeeper to ring the bell. Then Flair slaps Vince and spells out TNA to the camera.
In all seriousness though, I'm not sure how it'll go. I really think he's going to lose. But as already mentioned something that big should be last to end the show with a celebration like they did on RAW a few years ago, and since that won't be the case maybe he won't lose.
Personally I'd really like to see him on the verge of losing, HBK tuning up the band or something and Arn Anderson interferes somehow to give Flair the win.

WWE should break kayfabe by having the Citrus Bowl Incident where all the superstars heel and faces alike show their respect to Flair.

He'll give a heartfelt speech...then Money Mayweather comes out and breaks his jaw.

Be funny if WWE expected this huge standing ovation for Flair, and everybody in the crowd just sits there sitting on their hands because they don't give a smurf about him. I'd mark for that.

It would never happen because he's just too respected but I can't help but wonder how the other wrestlers would react if they did do a post-match celebration and the fans broke out the NAHNAHNAHNAH-HEYHEYHEY-GOODBYE chant. I could see some of those guys getting seriously pissed off.

Michaels gets injured and cant wrestle. Triple H says he needs a warm up match before the Main Event. He comes down and beats Flair senseless for 5 minutes and pins him with the Pedigree.
Flair then gets his head shaved and H H H spraypainted on his back. Triple H kicks him in the rea our of the ring and Flair returns to the back while Triple H does his various poses.

Knowing WWE, Vince will come out and do a You're Fired thing. However, I would LOVE to see the entire lockeroom (heels AND faces) pour out onto the ramp and give Flair the going away present he deserves. But that'll never happen because it'll break kayfabe.

I think it will be a very touching moment, actually I hope it will be, if they want to comtinue the storyline a little Vince might get involved, but I hope not

None of this really matters since he's not really retiring. He'll be back the next time Vince needs a match to sell a PPV. To think otherwise is kind of naive.

If the last time Flair stood in a wrestling ring was getting "fired" by Vince as opposed to getting to hold his head high, I have a feeling they'd piss off more than just a handful of their fanbase.

If they have to do the Vince 'firing' Flair, it better end with Flair giving Vince a chop to the chest that Vince sells as KO.
