3rd Place, not horrible. Note that 4 of the 5 losses were Bam Bam's fault.

damn you Chono! He lost almost all of our matches. There should be another tourney where we can pick our partner. There has to be a skill aspect of some sort to this rather than just picking the strongest character in the game.

Here we go with Round 1 of the tournament. If you lose, you're OUTTA THERE!
Ass Whip in a Can vs. Vicious and Equally As Vicious: - Morishima and Akiyama started off by wearing down Nakamura with strikes and takedowns. Then Predator tagged in and started tearing into Akiyama with his vicious offense. Morishima then interfered and leveled Predator with a suplex, allowing Akiyama to take over the match. Predator thought he would get in a breather by throwing Akiyama to the floor, but Morishima had second thoughts as he pounded on Predator. On the floor, Akiyama managed to avoid taking a Tiger Suplex from Nakamura. Wite Predator beaten down, Morishima got a tag and immediately hit the inverted chokeslam, but Predator got a rope break. Predator then started pounding away on Morishima, hitting a King Kong Kneedrop that Morishima kicked out of. Morishima went back to work, hitting two consecutive powerbombs, but Predator came back to flatten Morishima with the inverted chokeslam. He then tagged in Nakamura and allowed him to take over the match, locking in various arm submissions. Morishima fought back to hit a powerbomb and another inverted chokeslam, both of which Nakamura kicked out. Akiyama then tagged in, and started throwing the exploder suplexes. But then Nakamura caught Akiyama with a sitdown powerbomb, and once again, Morishima stood idly by as his partner got pinned. WINNERS: Ass Whip in a Can via sitdown powerbomb at 24:07
Roaring Warriors vs. Beers 'n' Busaikus: - The Beers took an early advantage when Scott Hall busted Mitsuharu Misawa open with punches, and kept pounding away at the wound. Misawa made a quick tag to Animal, who turned the match in favor of his team with his power. KENTA then tagged in and fared better than Hall, beating on Animal with his rapid-fire kicks. Hall tagged back in and was equally impressive. But then Animal managed to sneak in a quick powerslam and tagged in Misawa. The match spilled to the floor when Misawa hit KENTA with an Inferno Tiger Driver. KENTA responded with the KENTA Rush, but that didn't faze Misawa as he hit Emerald Flowsion on the exposed wooden floor. Meanwhile, Hall and Animal were battling in the ring, with Animal dropping Hall with a powerslam and Misawa following with a frog splash that was broken up by KENTA. Another pin was broken up by Animal, and he paid the price by taking a second-rope Outsider's Edge. Hall then turned to Misawa and gave him an Outsider's Edge, but Misawa kicked out. Another Edge provided the same result. Hall then climbed to the top rope and dropped a big elbow on Misawa's back. Misawa was undaunted and came back on offense, hitting Hall with the rolling elbow and hitting another frog splash. Misawa was about to finish it off with a Tiger Suplex, but Hall countered with a low blow, and hit a second low blow following it. But Misawa's balls of steel were unaffected by the dirty offense, and a Tiger Driver in his own corner, with Animal blocking interference, was the final decision. WINNERS: Roaring Warriors via Tiger Driver at 27:05
Lariats of Fire vs. Shining Mist: - Mike Awesome took it to the Shining Mist early on, but when Stan Hansen was tagged in, Muta took over the match. Hansen tried to go for the big offense to turn the advantage, but a powerbomb was reversed into a Frankensteiner for a two-count. Hansen then hit the move he wanted as he backdropped Muta, forcing a tag to Mutoh. Hansen and Mutoh would trade big moves back and forth until Muta tagged back in, and he was immediately hit with a lariat. He nos-old another lariat and hit Hansen with a piledriver. Hansen came back and hit Muta with a powerbomb on a chair, but it was broken up by Mutoh. Hansen hit another lariat on Muta that was broken up by Mutoh, which was immediately followed by a Muta moonsault. Mut then broke out the silverware and carved up Hansen with the fork. Hansen attempted a powerbomb, but it was reversed into another Frankensteiner, which was broen up by Awesome. Hansen gave Muta another powerbomb on the chair and then a lariat, but Mutoh broke up the pin again. Mutoh attacked Hansen and held him up for the mist, but Hansen dodged it and hit another lariat, and yet again Mutoh broke it up. Two more lariats actually resulted in kickouts by Muta. Time was running out, however, and Muta tried to get in a last-second submission with an armbar, but it was too late. WINNERS: draw
The Genichiro Tenryu Experience featuring Gary! vs. We Kill Babies With Our Bare Hands: - Abdullah the Butcher busted open Gary Albright with a headbutt. Albright then made a quick tag to Genichiro Tenryu, but Dr. Death Steve Williams countered him with his power. A powerslam by Dr. Death was broken up by Albright, and he delivered a snap dragon suplex. Tenryu began to fight back and hit a powerbomb, which Dr. Death kicked out of. Tenry then perched Dr. Death on the top rope and hit an avalanche Frankensteiner, then immediately followed with the 53 Years Old, but it was broken up by Butcher. Dr. Death fought back with a Doctor Bomb, but it was broken up by Albright, and they hit Dr. Death with a double powerbomb. Albright saved Tenryu from another Doctor Bomb, then held up Dr. Death as Tenryu sprayed the mist in his face. Albright then tagged in and took a Doctor Bomb, but that was broken up by Tenryu. Butcher then came in and stabbed him with the fork, as Dr. Death hit Albright with the backdrop. Tenryu tagged back in and hit a brainbuster on Dr. Death, which was broken up by Butcher. Dr. Death then hit another backdrop that Tenryu kicked out of. Tenryu kicked out of another backdrop and delivered a brainbuster, then went after Butcher, who gave him a Samoan Drop to the floor. Butcher went to attack Tenryu , but was given the 53 Years Old and was creamed with a chair. Unfortunately, the stalling outside cost both teams as the time limit ran out. WINNERS: draw
Giant Funknards vs. Lowkidozan: - Giant Funknards started out by tearing up Lowkidozan, until Low Ki entered the match and started tearing it up. He managed to hit a Tiger Suplex on Giant Bernard that was broken up, leading to Bernard hitting a TKO. Low Ki came back to hit a Firebird Splash on Bernard, then followed with a bridging double-arm suplex, which was broken p by Terry Funk. Bernard then twice attempted to powerbomb Ki, only to be reversed into a DDT. Low Ki then proceeded to lay into Funk, until Funk nailed him with the Texas Jab and a piledriver. Ki then went back to dominating Funk, until Funk threw him to the floor. As Ki and Bernard battled on the floor, Rikidozan came into the ring and hit Funk with a piledriver, then Low Ki entered the ring and locked in a dragon sleeper, forcing Funk to submit. WINNERS: Lowkidozan via Dragon Sleeper at 24:49
Real Deal Time vs. Team NOAH: - Vader started out by pounding on Naomichi Marufuji, until Yoshinobu Kanemaru tagged in. After getting beat on for a few minutes, Vader tagged in D'Lo Brown, who took over the match. The match went back in Team NOAH's favor when Marufuji tagged back in. Vader re-entered the match hit Marufuji with a double powerbomb, then Vader immediately followed with a Vader Bomb. Marufuji then tagged in Kanemaru, who reversed a Vader Bomb into a DDT, then a chokeslam into an armdrag. But Vader managed to hit a Vader Bomb, forcing a tag to Marufuji. Vader immediately ended it seconds later by breaking Marufuji's back with a powerslam. WINNERS: Real Deal Time via CRITICAL! powerslam at 21:08
Beasts from the East vs. J-Mex Corporation: - Bam Bam Bigelow broke out the chair early on and creamed Masahiro Chono with it, giving the Beasts all the momentum. Mil Mascaras then tagged in and hit Jumbo Tsuruta with a series of armdrags, but Tsuruta shook them off and suplexed Mascaras to the floor, then backdropped him on the floor. A backdrop in the ring sealed the match for the Beasts. WINNERS: Beasts from the East via backdrop at 11:39 The Official Jumbo Tsuruta Backdrop Counter: 3
Death Drops and Choke Slams vs. Kimono Mutilation: - This started out looking like an easy victory for DDCS, with Akira Taue crushing Toshiaki Kawada's neck with a release German Suplex onto the apron. After a chokeslam, Kawada tagged Bryan Danielson, and they hit Taue with a double powerbomb. Danielson then took Taue up top and hit him with an avalanche backdrop, then dropped him with a DDT. Taue then came back by hitting a DDT, a release German Suplex, then finishing with I Am Taue, but Kawada broke up the pin. Kawaa then saved Danielson from a sitdown powerbomb, but then Sting put him in the Scorpion Deathlock. Meanwhile Danielson planted Taue with a Tiger Suplex, but Taue came back with a release German, and tagged the fresh Sting. Sting assaulted Danielson and slapped on the Scorpion Deathlock, but Danielson escaped, and he and Kawada hit Sting with a double powerbomb. Taue then interfered and hit Danielson with a release German suplex onto the apron, and followed him to the floor. As they fought on the outside, Kawada proceeded to soften up the relatively unharmed Sting with kicks and big moves. Sting was in trouble, as he took a bridging double arm suplex, but he barely kicked out and managed to put Danielson in the Scorpion Deathlock again. But Danielson escaped, causing both men on the apron to enter the match. As Kawada forced Taue back to his own corner, Danielson caught Sting with a Northern Lights suplex, and managed to hold his shoulders down for a three-count and an improbable upset. WINNERS: Kimono Mutilation via Northern Lights suplex at 18:10
Since there were two draws in the first round, all four teams that were involved have been eliminated from the tournament. That means that the winner of Ass Whip in a Can vs. Roaring Warriors will get an automatic bye into the finals.

I'm so glad this is over. I can't wait to get him into the ring.
