Saw, would a concept for an upcoming card be one that features everyone's second wrestlers and newcomers? It could be called "They terk our jerbs!" as all the first choice wrestlers are not booked for the show. I like both Crumpet's logo, and Pushkilla's card idea. Also, of this card passes I would like my alt of Masahiro Chono to team with Pushkilla15's alt Great Muta in a NWO Japan Co-Leaders One Night Only Tag Team Reunion match against anyone who wishes to face us then.

Yeah good idea, it could even lead to a massive first choice vs second choice/newcomers themed show. With a points based winning system.

In a great case of life imitating art, this was announced today...
The other sees New Japan's most famous tag team, ChoTen, reunite as part of Sekigun and Legend's union to battle the GBH pair of Makabe & Iizuka!
NJPW "ONLY ONE NIGHT ~AREA G~", 6/22/08 Gifu Industrial Hall
1. Masahiro Chono & Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. Togi Makabe & Takashi Iizuka
I, of course, take partial credit for this development. Like a butterfly flapping it's wings causes a hurricane on the other side of the world, so too can a fist tap reunite a legendary tag team.

Oh, and by the way GM Saw, can this NWO Japan main event take place? Oh, and can it be a six-man tag instead of the orignal idea?(I'm including Tenzan for this, just for this occasion.)

Knowing as I do that there are a lot of Chikara fans in this section, part of me almost thinks that just like "Chinese Democracy" is being considered something of a Wrestlemania type event, that "They Took Our Jerbs" could almost be booked like a Young Lions Cup type thing on a semi-annual basis for Newcomers and SecondDraft picks. But that's just me.

Well, we should make all events special in their own way, and not make it seem like some events are throwaways.

Well, we should make all events special in their own way, and not make it seem like some events are throwaways. I respect that thought, but what happens if we end up naming a show "Greatest Night in the History of Our Sport"? Nothing before or since would be able to live up to it until "Greatest Night in the History of Our Sport 2".

Annual King of the Ring style tournaments, and G1 Climaxes would be great. Tag Team tournaments with the winning team member with most falls in the tournament getting a GJD shot and the partner in the winning team with less falls getting a Badgerweight shot.

My musings:
-Withtheirfists: That's a risk, but I don't think GM Saw will use that name, I hope. -Joshin Liger: I'm all for tournaments, and your idea is certainely a creative one.

Maybe have an annual Champions showcase too. No titles on the line but have all 5 champions (I'm counting the Tag Champs as indivdual holders) face each other in singles matches, see who racks up the most points and becomes the champion of champions. Ofcourse they would also have to face King Booker (I swear it's a joke!)

Yeah, I also think we could do with a good ol' ranking system just to keep in check who the top contenders are all the way down to the lowliest of jobbers. I'm sure there's someone here who'll be willing to rack all that up.

Nice, we should get a good one after this next big tournament coming up. Hey are we gonna do a deathmatch championship too for the more hardcoreoriented wrestlers? Have there been any talks of such a thing?

-Withtheirfists: That's a risk, but I don't think GM Saw will use that name, I hope. -Joshin Liger: I'm all for tournaments, and your idea is certainely a creative one. Au contraire, mon frere! I would love to use that as a name for a show sometime! In fact, I keep thinking that we need to embrace stuff like the SP references (I still need to get I'm Not Your Fwiend, Buddeh onto the books sometime) as well as other Wrestlecrap references (like a show called Your Favorite Wrestler...In A Sombrero! in reference to one of my favorite trends, and....WRESTLE-TROLLA!!). And the reason that I put the First timers show under consideration is because I don't want to have a bunch of good ideas coming my way only to have me miss parts and forget things and have it come off half-assed on my side. I'm having a tough enough time trying to keep track of things as it is, so I really want to keep things simple and to the point for every show. However, there are some great ideas coming out of this, and I don't want to stifle anything. I just don't want to clutter things up and have everything get attempted at once, and not have anything left later on. So, right now, I want to focus on the matches coming up for this show, and try to give everyone a fair shake. Also, CHIKARAmigo, get together with Chiefdom, who's overseeing the Win/Loss records and work out a ranking system. The top 10 for the GJD/Badgerweight/Two Princes will be initially determined by the FFTG gauntlets, but we'll need something to determine who goes where by ranking eventually. Just be aware that I do carry the power to assign championship matches when I feel it necessary that might supercede that.
