We all know the Undertaker, and the WWE as a whole, are big into protecting 'Taker's on-screen persona, right? He isn't allowed to do interviews because the Deadman isn't really an interviewable persona. He didn't appear on screen for the Flair tribute and even off camera came out to his full entrance. That's cool, right?
But what if some Make a Wish kid wanted to meet with the Undertaker? What should be done? Do WWE just go "no"? Does he go there and act entirely in character? Does he loosen up a little? Does he essentially go as biker 'Taker, ie something closer to himself in real life?

if it was a make a wish kid... he'd probably believe in kayfabe and want to meet the undertaker, the man he plays on screen. that would be the reason. there is no doubt in my mind that he would appear completely in character

I don't know why they would go out of the way to protect the character when we already saw his human side. Its mind-boggling. If they should protect anybody's character from appearing at the make-a-wish foundation, it should be the heels.

I'm pretty sure if he went and acted uptight and in character (or not at all), word of it would have gotten out, and he would be almost as hated around here as Hulk Hogan.

They'd send the kid the urn, then he would have control over the Undertaker.

He'd act the way he does on the Tribute to the Troops shows when he shows a human side. They showed clips of Taker shaking hands, holding up flags, thanking soldiers, etc. I am pretty sure Taker would act the same way to a Make-a-Wish kid.

That last sentence for some reason had me picturing Carlito spitting an apple at a Make-A-Wish kid.

I could see this happening followed by JR screaming "This is uncalled for, this is totally distasteful, there is no reason for this... by gawd this is sickning." Carlito on next week's Raw: "You peeple gah it all wrong! Carlito was just trying to chew the brat's food for him when all of a sudden...Carlito had a flash, NO! Carlito had a vision! A sickening...dees-gusting vision of a ugly girl Carlito saw earlier making out with me! This girl wasn't jus' average...not even homely. Jus' plain unfit for human EYES! It made Carlito so sick that he spit, and well...the kid just happened to be in the way."

It'd be funny if they would just say, "Mark Calloway grants wishes for kids on behalf of WWE."
Casual smark: Who the hell is Mark Calloway? Isn't that the guy Paul Burchill beat up on Heat? Why would Vince send a jobber to grant wishes? He must really hate those kids.
