If anyone fels that TNA is too much like WWE for its own good (and I do), the way to fix this is to remove Russo from the booking team and the writing process. Russo believes the same things that Vince does except he takes it further than even Vince would. To make the product different and more accessable to fans who hate the WWE style (and there are plenty of those) TNA needs to keep away from creative people who think like WWE and Russo is at the top of the list. Jarrett and Dixie Carter may like him personally, but, it is time for Russo to go if TNA is to get stronger as a company and is to move forward towards being truly a different product from WWE. Russo has two strengths McMahon doesn't. 1) Actually keeps up with current events and pop culture instead of being 20 years behind the times. 2) Tries to find the inherent character in each performer. Meanwhile, McMahon knows how to make a more focused product. This is why the two of them made such a great team. They canceled out their faults and brought out the best in each other. But that's going off subject. In short, despite what the Internet wants to think, Russo can be good for TNA and HAS been good for TNA in the arena of character development and humor. For all of his other faults, sure, reign him in. But it's short sighted to just want the guy gone.

WWE has an okay-to-good ME scene with a varying undercard and a terrible women's division, TNA has a great womens division, a solid-to-damn-good undercard and a varying ME scene. If I didn't inherently like the E more, I might be sold on TNA.

Well, if TNA's the goofy cousin, WWE's the boring uncle who thinks he's funny.

so whats ROH? the super duper cousin that makes everyone jealous because the family loves them when they visit. And Chiakara? the family comedian? I'd imagine ROH would be more like that Fonz or Hyde-like family member, the rebel that everyone likes. As for Chikara, without a doubt, they'd be the comic book-reading, video game-playing, sci fi movie-watching dork the family members either absoutely love or absolutely hate.

No. After sitting through the midget mini-royal rumble last night on Raw, I've decided Raw is no less silly (crappy) than TNA. As long as Hornswoggle is a featured performer, Raw has no claim to be more sophisticated than TNA. I actually changed the channel when he drew the door on the wall and ran through it. That's extreme behavior for me. I don't think anybody wants super serial wrestling ever. I know I watch wrestling because it's so absurd.

Oh Gee-Zus Fish gives me gee-yasss To be honest, this is a great analogy to what I'm saying. I didn't think of it before, but it works. But then again, a sitcom analogy works too, i.e, Will Smith and Carlton, Carl and Urkel, etc. WWE (tries) to be funny; that's its nature. Like a sitcom's central character. At the same time, it has to be serious, or at least percieved in a more serious light as not to overshadow the goofy cousin. TNA feels like the goofy cousin. AJ Styles makes me feel this in particular, but then you have the horrible script writing, poor production and horrible announce team. It's only desire is to be funny, and be there for extreme comic reliefe. I feel that's TNA's purpose in life. Sure, WWE tries to be funny as well, but TNA, being the goofy cousin, has to eclipse it, even if at times it bares more normalcy than WWE. This character always has to represent goofy, while balancing out the normalcy of the central character. So yeah, Kyle 1 and Kyle 2 is a good example of what I mean. I thought it was one of those broad bold statements that can illicit some good thoughts and analogies, and even some agreements and tried to see what good interpretations this could lead to, but I guess not....maybe I'm asking too much... BACK TO THE GOOFY COUSIN PICTURE POSTING!

I still say TNA is just another 2 hours of WWE-like programming If Kong/Kim is like anything the WWE has shown in the past three months, please send me a copy. Would you settle with some Kurt Angle "hilarity"? I should add that "hilarity" is used quite loosely in this piece of writing.

There aren't too many well-known rebel-without-a-cause tv characters out there (that I know well enough) that I could choose from.

Chikara and ROH are the cousins with potential, but are homeless and broke right now.
That is why they talk so much crap about the bigger cousin TNA.
See it's just a family fued.

to all the "TNArmy" yeah the WWE put a midget battle royal on Raw so what at least their not dumb enough to have a blindfolded steel cage match on one of their biggest PPV's so dont act like TNA's s*** dont stink as well. but most of the TNArmy still think the earth is flat.
