At first, I was all: But then I read some more, and it looks like it could still be several people at this point. If Knox's pay stubs were in the box though, then it would show that he was at least in on it and aware that there were people living with him taking steroids. Wait. Are you saying......There's a steroid CONSPIRACY?!

Does anyone have any idea when he got signed? Or more importantly, why?

Wasn't Chikara suppose to get Knox in a trade for Delaney? ...not so much so?

WWE wrestlers have an obligation to represent the company in a positive light, and Knox's actions will be bringing a lot of negative publicity to the company. It won't be a violation of the Wellness Policy, but it will possibly result in him getting fired for brining the companies reputation into a very negative light.
It'd be the same as if it came to light that a wrestler may have commited murder or some other disgraceful act before being signed that came to light... there's no written policy on the matter but you can bet they'd be fired.
It'll be interesting to see how WWE handles this. It migt be very simplistic and predictable to just fire fire Knox. But it might be good to see WWE try and take a more positive aproach. Perhaps have Knox do a press conference to say he doesn't use steroids anymore. Say how the Wellness Program changed his attitude, and show recent test results to prove he is clean (assuming of course he is).
This could potentially be used by WWE to make them look like they are doing something proactive, and that the WP is working. That approach could look better than just admitting, "okay you found him out, he does roids, so we'll sack him".

On the flipside though, this could just lead to people rolling their eyes at WWE if they do that. If people remember what guys were saying last Summer about the Wellness Policy cleaning them up, they might just assume Knox and WWE are full of it.

I find it more shocking that Mike Knox has been employed by the WWE for 3 years... 2004 + 3 does not = 2008. The guy's been there four years! YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING MEEEEEEEE!

The lead story on the Wrestling Observer site: Lead story on Atlanta news tonight could be major embarrassment to WWE and drug policy Fox 5 in Atlanta tonight had as one of its lead stories, an item about a man who moved into a home he had just purchased from a WWE wrestler (whose name was not identified in the story).
He found who shoe boxes filled with steroids and Growth Hormone in a crawl space in the wall along with a copy of the wrestlers current contract and a memo regarding changes in te dress code.
They announced they weren't releasing the name of the wrestler who just moved until they spoke with him first.
Thanks to Scott Decker www.wrestlingobserver.com/wo/news/headlines/default.asp?aID=22512Yeah, I think we'll see someone wished well in their future endeavors soon. Why the hell would he keep his steroid stash and current copy of his contract together?

The important part that nobody seems to care about. Knox was 1 of 4 people living in the house, therefore there is only a 25% chance it was actually him surely? His name is just being used because, well, because he's a current WWE superstar.

Or more importantly, why? I picture someone there being like "this Mike Knox he's a real blue chipper with a future" I picture them being more like... "Mike Knox... he's the one we dressed as a pirate right? No? That bald guy? Or is he that big black guy who hasn't been around for a while? You know, the one that does that thing? No? Ah, we better not release him... if we can't make 15 other cuts we'll come back and check who he is again..."

Right, because of course, if you were about to sign for a job that would potentially give you worldwide fame, you'd say to your drug-addled housemate "mind if I put this incriminating evidence in your drug shoebox?".

Are his name on the bottles or not? Seems kinda weird to think they'd just say "Eenie, meenie, miny, moe - it's THIS guy!" unless they had a name.

If 4 guys lived there, it would tell me it's 4 guys who moved there to work in DSW at the time....I wonder who they were...
I got dibs that one of them is Derrik Neikirk because he's friends with Knox and is also from the west coast indy scene.....he was also suspended for violating the wellness policy then fired a few months later.

Probably 4 guys from out of state that pitched in to live together while working in development.

From what it said, the bottles aren't perscription, they just either have the drug name or nothing on them. Knox's name comes from the copy of his contract that was found along with them. It would be interesting to know who the other three (I assume DSW guys) wrestlers that lived there were. Or if anything of theirs was also in the box. Probably would have been mentioned if that were the case, though.
