Hire me?

My 10 Ways To Save TNA aka Really Vince Russo? Really?
1. Fire Vince Russo and Dutch Mantel. But most important fire Vince Russo.
2. Have Jim Cornette, Scott D'Amore, Raven and Lance Storm write, with Jeff Jarrett. And hire someone new. Id go for Joey Ryan because of how well PWG combines comedy and wrestling, without coming off corney. My dream would be for Gabe Sopolsky, because ROH has gotten so stale and I think he needs a change of venue. But this probabley wont happen.
3. Everyone knows that TNA needs to be an alternative. Its a sitcom based on pro wrestling right now. Every few months it gets good, and then all of the sudden it's a horrible comedy again. Naming the episodes? Jokes every 10 minutes? Evil dark villains wanting to eat people's eyes, porn stars, stupid costume matches, and backstage party skits that are funny ONCE. Marriages where people accidently get married? Really? Give the fans something to CARE about, not some parody of the WWE.
4. Force everyone to watch UWF circa 1985-87, NWA 1986-87, ECW circa 1995-97, WCW 97,WWF 1987-89 and see why these eras are so beloved by fans and take elements from them. Update these elements, and listen to young guys like Alex Shelley and Samoa Joe, about what people want to see TODAY. Update the classics by listening to your YOUNG, intelligent talent.
5. Hire no more than 10 ex WCW-WWE guys at a time. The perception is there and must be eliminated. WIth this, let Kip James, the Dudleyz, James Mitchel, Dustin Rhodes, and Rellik go out to pasture. Matt Morgan makes sense, Black Reign doesnt. On that note bring in young talent to develop. Human Tornado, Joey Ryan, Scott Lost and Claudio Castagnoli are perfect additions and PUSH them as they come in. Right away. Other than Claudio, I would say stay away from ROH talent.
6. Do not have such a strict script. Allow the wrestlers personalities to shine. Let them develop their characters. Do not worry about making new characters, but play off of what makes them successful elsewhere. Let Alex Shelley talk, let Homicide talk, let Samoa Joe be himself. Sure, the veterans like Jim Cornette, Kevin Nash and Raven should help them develop, but draw from what makes them human. People don't want to see cartoons anymore, they just dont.
7. When you tour, dont charge so high for tickets. This is why the shows are empty. 20$ seats. 50$ for front row. Let people see your product live FIRST, than began to charge more.
8. Have ALL your PPVs outside of Orlando. Maybe do TV tapings in Orlando AND another location? Maybe monthly in Memphis or Nashville. There are already plans to do live TV twice a month, think about touring that too. Dont worry about small crowds, just go to smaller venues. Cheap to rent, don't fly in ALL the talent.
9. Instead of signing douchebags like Pacman Jones, spend that money on sending out your wrestlers to charity events. Kids with cancer, disabled veterans, whatever to get good press and get your name out there. I dont think its bad to have sports people show up, but stop having them involved in angles unless they HAVE CHARISMA.
10. And FINALLY , this is the MOST important of all. DO NOT COMPETE WITH THE WWE. Forget they exist. Maybe a passing reference, a joke, but FORGET them. You will NEVER be in the same league. Let them do the circus, and you do the carnival. Wrestling can work in the US on TV and not be a joke.

Oh, the "How would you make TNA better" threads. Time for it already? Let me see if I got the basics right: -Firing most of the booking team cause they suck. -Firing some of the WWE guys cause they suck. -Firing some of the boring guys cause they suck. -Get rid of the 6 sides cause it sucks. -Get rid of the stories that suck. -Get rid of everything that sucks. Then: -Push everyone that's awesome -Make the stories awesome. -Turn everything awesome. Did I get everything? I feel if I write it enough, if enough people write it, IT MIGHT COME TRUE.

As for the Team 3D hatred, I would say that now it is not justified. Their heel turn seemingly has renewed them; they act kind of like their old ECW characters, instead of catchphrase spouting goofs. I can see how they fit in the tag division (and not the X-Division completely). I can see them working as bodyguards for Devine.

Show Road Dogg and Billy Gunn (the only names the used when they were ever worth a damn) the door. They contribute nothing, aren't entertaining, and suck up TV time from more deserving talent. Hell, Eric gets a better crowd response than they do these days.

I'd make some major changes to the roster. People like VKM, Kevin Nash, Rhyno, Scott Steiner, and Dustin Rhodes would all go. I'd try bringing in some new faces from the indy's, Mexico, and Japan to take their places.
I'd re-push the X division with some of these new stars, and keep up the push of the women's division. Both of these are unique things to TNA, and would help to really differentiate TNA's product from WWE's.
I'd also tone down the WWE imitating. Current storyline's such as those involving Abyss, Shark Boy, and Jay Lethal would nixed. I'd serious par back Jim Cornette's appearances on television. I'd also get in the habit of making tag team, X division, and women's title matches main events.
I'd get in the habit of lending some of TNA's talent out to indy-programs in area's near where I was planning to have televised shows or PPV's. I'd lend them out on condition that during the indy-show, they be permitted to cut a promo telling people to watch out for the TNA show coming to the area soon.
I'd get in the habit of running a few PPV's a year outside the US. In particular, I would try targeting countries in Europe, or Australia, where wrestling is far more scarce, and business is almost always known to be better. Letting global audiences see their counterparts all over the world would further help develop TNA's unique identity.
I'd try to even further develop TNA's viral campaigns through Itunes and Youtube and others. Riding the cutting edge of technology could do nothing but benefit the company.

I'd make people actually care about the fueds, and build up to big matches more. As fun as it is to see two main eventers go at it, it usually doesn't make any sense. Why is Christian fighting Judas? I don't know. How does it advance either one of their story lines going into a major PPV? I don't know. Why do we have Booker T and Kurt Angle fighting for no reason with no buildup into what should be a "dream match" I don't know. Have people fight against people they're fueding against, or at least have some angles between the two. It seems like they just randomly pick out faces and heels and put them together for no reason.

ya definelty either fire russo or make him stop writing thinking every one is a dirt sheet insider , i bet new fans wouldnt be getting alot of the wcw refrences their making and proably any body is not constantly not online would get a 1993 joke about the shock master (tna actuly did this with eric young and angle during interagation scenes to find who stings partner would be at genisus)
either put road dog and billy gunn and does other wrestlers that dont contribute to the show out to pasture as were all saying or have them mainly focoused on putting other people over to create new stars.
build up your shows with a ton of action just like they do with the ppvs each year.
Find a coreect way to edit your show and where a good place for the show would be to go to a break. Every time i ushaly see a great hyped match on tna they show the first 3 mins of the match, go to comercal and when they come back the wrestlers are already at the going home point. I find the middle of the match to just be as importaint as begining and end and the building for the final mooments gets me excited about the wrestling.
give joe a world title run. Most people dont like him but a lot of people consider him a huge reason they watch tna. They have been delaying this for a long time, they need him to win the title and give him a lengthy angle or christan run, not having him lose the title on the next show or in his first title defense like sting and so many other tna world champions.
i would say less angle but lately i have been seeing that.
keep pushing characters your developing right now that have a huge following, like cury man, shark boy, black machismo, eric young, james strom, mcmgs, ect.
i dont know if it should go to six or four sides , i mean six is still a little innovative for u.s. tv and when i watch the product i hardly even notice that fact about the ring, cause im too concentrated watching the moves and the actions.

A 3 step plan to answering this question:
1. Bring a camera crew to the house shows. 2. Edit the house show together into a 2 hour Impact. 3. Give to SpikeTV - tell them to press "play."

1. Don't let TNA near any bright lights. 2. Don't get TNA wet. 3. Don't feed TNA after midnight.
