Storm is great but nobody can make Elevation X work, you just gotta be too careful and it looks stupid. Besides, a match that revolves around one spot is not exactly a thriller. Last year with Styles and Rhino i was waiting for that darn spot for like 15 minutes only to have AJ fall off like he did many times before in the Ultimate X matches.

Aren't the MCMG number one contenders? I'm rather certain they won a gauntlet match a month or so, didn't they? When are they going to get there shot?

You're refering to the road of Final Resolution '08 when they determined rankings for all TNA championship belts. If I'm not mistaken, LAX won it back in January. But AJ Styles and Tomko are in that six man war anyway, so I doubt there'll be a tag team title match at Destination X. However, I think they should get rid off Elevation X simply because it only brings in a few people who actually buy the PPV for it. It's also funny that Rhino wants to be in another Elevation X match considering his fear for it last time. Maybe he's able to "cross the line" this time. As of right now, I see Joe/Nash/Angle winning the 6 man war. Should be a decent PPV.

Reading all the rumors and such, this actually looks like it might be a better wrestling show than AAO.

You know somethings wrong when AJ Styles can't make a match work. The fall was pretty bad as well... I'd rather see something like a street fight; but that's something we see every week almost. I wonder if there'd be an Ultimate X match on this show, it'd be cool if there was.

I already lost interest in this PPV. I mean why ist Joe getting his title shot? Hasn't he wanted this for months? And we'll have two straight PPV's with tag team wars. God great booking TNA.

The explanation is above you a few posts. Joe knows he cant get a true one on one title shot until the Alliance is dead, so hes going to do that before he takes his title shot. Which also hurts your 'joe is the dumbest babyface ever' thing. And last month wasnt a tag team main event. It was Angle vs Christian. Assuming youre talking about Lockdown, its not certain that Lethal Lockdown will main event. There could easily be a title match with Lethal Lockdown as the co main event.

Tag team matches in a PPV main event worked in 1985. They don't work in 2008, no matter who it is. More uninspired booking.

The first Elevation X was dumb, IMO, and it had one of the best wrestlers this world has seen in it. Ultimate X at Destination X makes the same amount of sense and at least those matches are fun to watch. I didn't enjoy a match where the point is to throw your opponent off a scaffold.

According to the Wrestling observer, these are some more announced matches. Haven't seen them on the site though, so not sure if they're valid or spoilerish, so I'm just gonna post the link to it.

Update on tickets: apparently ringside seats have been sold out but they've curtained off the entire upper level of the arena, so maybe 1/4 of the arena will actually be used.

According to the Wrestling observer, these are some more announced matches. Haven't seen them on the site though, so not sure if they're valid or spoilerish, so I'm just gonna post the link to it. Well let's see what we have here... Credit: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter Team 3D vs. Shark Boy and Curry ManBased on what little I've seen, I can only assume Team 3-D will lose in a Biggest Loser Weigh-Off Challenge where the losing team goes on the "blow away" diet. LAX vs. The Rock and Rave Infection vs. The Motor City Machineguns w/Hermie Sadler as Special RefereeAnd TNA's failed attempts at celebrity involvement continue. I'm from the South, NASCAR Heaven, and I wasn't even sure who Sadler was. Since the MCMG apparently have NUCLEAR HEATZ, I suppose the win will go too...Sadler. Sure, why not. Booker T. vs. "Ravishing" Rick Rude's cheap cloneF***'s sake, is this feud still going on!? Roode still has a job!?? TNApologists wonder why critics say TNA dropped the ball with Booker!?? Oh hell, let's just say Roode wins, cuz good ol' Booker's all about pushing new talent. Yay, Booker! What a guy! (Psst!! Remember to lay low during those drug tests, buddy!) Elevation X Match: Rhino vs. James StormYea. The first one sucked, and so will this one. Maybe the fans will get lucky and Rhino will botch a Gore attempt and fall off within 3 minutes. TNA X-Division Title Match: Black Machismo © vs. Petey WilliamsOoohhh yeeaahh, speaking of clones...! Let's just figure Lethal wins this one in a feeble attempt at bringing credibility back to the Division Russo managed to turn into a joke last year. Cuz nothing says "credibility" like a parody of a wrestler who's biggest days were nearly 20 years ago. DIG IT!! TNA Knockouts Title Match: Awesome Kong © vs. ODB vs. Gail KimKong. Definitely...though I could be wrong. Doesn't matter though. Russo isn't involved with this one, which already means it won't suck. Fortunately, along with that, the Knockouts have been the best thing about TNA, so this match promises to be a potential match of the night contender...which is pretty telling when your roster includes the likes of Kurt Angle, Booker T, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Tomko, Christian... Not to worry, though, guys. I'm sure the Knockouts will be reduced to backstage lingerie parties with Truth-or-Dare tournaments to decide who's champ this time next year. Kurt Angle, AJ Styles and Tomko vs. Samoa Joe, Kevin Nash and Christian CageMost promotions would include a world title match in the main event of a major PPV, but TNA ain't most promotions! They're innovative, baby! I don't really know or care which side wins this or who gets the pin. Does anyone? Oh, hell, let's just say Kurt scores the pinfall on Joe. Why should his reign of terror end so soon after everyone's lost interest?
