According to ProWrestling.Net....
There were a number of wrestlers who were upset over management's decision to show Robbie McAllister during Thursday's Impact. One source said the word being routinely used by the wrestlers was "classless." The word backstage is that McAllister was there to see his friend Johnny Devine work the opening match.

All three sides in this are jackasses. Robbie was a Jackass for going when he knew hed get in trouble. WWE are jackasses for being so up tight and prickish about their guys even talking to TNA guys. Now this I will agree with.

It makes TNA look second rate. "Hey, here is a guy from the WWE" Like he is a part of the big leages, Just like the celebrities they show at ringside.

I don't understand why Robbie should get any heat. The thing is, he's a wrestling fan. And he went to see a wrestling show. I guarentee you, there will be some WWE or TNA talent at the ROH shows too
And I think like, TNA trying to take advantage of the fact that Robbie came to the show to see a friend (if that is true) and get him in shit, knowing that WWE would be pissed (which they shouldn't be either, because he's a wrestling fan going to a wrestling show.
I guess what he could have done was what Edge and Lita did. One time they went to a wrestling show in Mexico and wore masks in the crowd.

It would be like Derek Jeter attending a minor league affiliate of the METS game, it's unprofessional to support competition a second rate show trying to piggyback on their success. fixed.

The thing I don't understand. Is why he would sit in the crowd like a jabroni?
Considering he probably knows a lot of guys on TNA's roster, couldn't he have gotten backstage?

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that there was a major issue over this as many TNA wrestlers were upset with management for making the call to do it in the first place. McAllister was sent home by WWE today over the incident, which will only fuel the fire for those in the company that were against it. It should be noted that McAllister is good friends with Johnny Devine and just came to see his match after standing in line with other fans. There was some fear he could have lost his job over the situation considering how low on the "pecking order" he is with the company. Many TNA wrestlers felt it was a very classless move by the company to show him on camera because they were putting his job on the line.

I can understand the other wrestlers getting mad. The amount of effort it must take to get hired by the WWE (as well as brought up to television) has to be tremendous and for all of that hard work to be potentially tossed out the window because another company wants to make themselves look good is just plain pathetic.

So...he risked his job with WWE in order to see a Johnny Devine match? In all honesty, no TNA doesn't "owe" him a job, but putting him on air, which served no purpose whatsoever, and had zero chance of any positive effect, is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. All this will do is fuel distrust among TNA employees, since they, apparently, voiced disagreement with the idea, yet management went ahead with it.

In all honesty, I have to say that was real childish of TNA.
It's the equivalent of tattle-telling.

Yeah TNA are pricks for doing it. WWE will be even bigger pricks if they fire him for this when all he was doing was watching the sport he loves.

Maybe this is just the beginning of the worst invasion angle ever.
Robbie: "Ye know who I be, but ye don't know why I be here. I'M ROBBIE!"

No there not, they warned him in advance to stay away from TNA. People get fired all the time for disobeying there bosses orders. What makes him so smurfing special?

He should get punished because he was told not to be around TNA and yet he does. I really don't how this is stupid or unprofessional on WWE's part. i say unprofessional because its almost as if theyre trying to act as if TNA doesnt exist and not communicate in any way, its hard to explain. You do have a point with the punishment whether i agree with it or not, i just think its stupid and upsetting but it isnt up to me Other than you know, in the past, TNA has shown they don't have the maturity level to handle a situation where they are remotely close to the WWE. With everything TNA has done in the past can you really blame the WWE for acting this way?

Really I can't blame TNA. Basically the idea was that their show was so good, guys from the WWE were showing up to watch it.
It's no different than when WWE will show football players or other celebrities in the crowd.
Robbie is not TNA's employee, it's not their problem what happens to him.

TNA could've very easily put cameras on the WWE guys who were backstage (hell, the ECW world champ was there) but yet chose to do this to a low-card WWE guy who was in the crowd with other fans.

Well if it were someone like Cena or something WWE wouldn't even care which is even more bullshit. I think it's a dick move to ban talent from going and watching the sport they love. Reportedly, TNA isn't allowing their talent to go to the HOF which is more BS seeing as how some of them are good friends with him.
