Sounds skippable to me. I'm fairly certain Orton will retain by pinning JBL.

Wish Edge and Taker had a HIC or TLC match.

Orton and Kane retain, Batista/HBK ends in a stalemate. I'll catch it when 24/7 puts it up.

Wish Edge and Taker had a HIC or TLC match. They should have some kind of specialty match. Batista and Taker had a Last Man Standing match last year. I don't see why Taker and Edge couldn't have some sort of specialty match.

Big Show/Great Khali has been added to Backlash. WWE Mobile hints at MVP/Matt Hardy being added as well, but that's not official yet.

Is anyone else really looking forward to the matches on this card? Even Khali/Show ... I'm digging the hype. I mean, I just feel like the hype started during the hype for Show/Mayweather... "Largest athlete in the world," .. Khali just comes out to physically contest that. I dunno, it all seems more epic than Mania.
Also, wouldn't be surprised if Taker loses. JUST SAYING is all.

Also, wouldn't be surprised if Taker loses. JUST SAYING is all. Nah, this is the re-try for 'Takers last long run that he couldn't get last year due to the "SmackDown curse". Unless he absolutely has to, I don't see him dropping it for a while. Which is fine with me. Show/Khali sounds ok but I just know Show's going over, with his super punching power. Bleh. MVP/Hardy is alright, but they need to rebuild some of the heat lost due to Matt's absence.

I'm having a hard time getting interested in this PPV. I did like Edge/Taker at WM24, but I'm not sure I'm up for a second battle, unless a special stipulation is added. The fatal-four way just seems to be a rematch of the so-so Mania match, with JBL thrown into the mix. Kane/Chavo sounds horrible for a PPV match. Khali/Show is going to be horrible, I just know it. Batista/HBK could easily be a great match, but the storyline came out of nowhere. MVP/Hardy is the only match I'm really interested to see, because they put on good matches in the past. Overall, I'm pretty positive I'm skipping this PPV and waiting to watch it on WWE 24/7. Unless they skip Backlash like they did last year.

It doesn't sound like a good PPV at all to me.
Edge/Taker might be alright, but honestly I just couldn't give a crap about their feud.
Orton/Cena/HHH/JBL-frankly I'm just not interested in the WWE title picture right now.
Khali/Show, meh.
MVP/Hardy, not as interested as I was last year.
HBK/Batista is about the only feud right now that I want to see how it ends up.
Chavo/Kane-pissbreak.

As much as I want to be excited for the MVP/Hardy match, I just don't see the title change happening here

Batista/HBK could easily be a great match, but the storyline came out of nowhere. It came out of quite a feasible situation to be fair. HBK retired Batista'a mentor. Batista isn't happy.

Quick question: Is the theme song for this PPV really "All Summer Long" by Kid Rock?
I mean its a good song, but it' doesn't fit at all a wrestling PPV!

Tut, tut.
You should know better that we have no such thing as a "summer" over here in the UK.
They should use a different song for our UK market, one that invariably includes the words "rain", "wind" and "cloudy".
