sadly, i'd pay $499 for this bundle. I heard it comes with a Dual Shock 3 Controller and an 80GB HDD. Hopefully it's backwards compatible.

and essentially it's 2 games your also buying: cause MGS4 also comes with Metal Gear Online, so your all set basically. You have one full game offline to play and an online game that DLs to the HDD so yo can frag people in.

Interesting thing of note, Metal Gear Online can be bought by itself as well over PSN when it comes out.

Is this the one with backward compatibility? If so, I might have to pick it up. I don't like MGS, so i can just sell it back for an extra $30. I mean, I'm going to have to play FF XIII, GoW III, and MLB 09: The Show. And my PS2 broke.

It won't be bought back for $30, try more around between $40 and $50.

well, thats the million dollar question at the moment: is this particular model of PS3, does it have Backwards compatibility or not? I say it should, but Sony will somehow do otherwise.

Of course, this depends on whether they're going to release that bundle in Europe.

The 80g models on the market now have limited b/c so hopefully it will at least keep that.
