No, no Cena debates here.
This is a debate about the debates.

It depends on the circumstances.
If it's an intelligent, thought-out debate where people give their opinions, and people counter said opinions with intellectual responses, then yes.
If it's just another flame war, f*** that s***.

No, not at all. It always ends up the same way. Some people are logical in their reasons for liking him and not liking him, and the threads start off smoothly. Then of course the idiotic "OMG HE'S THE WORST THING TO HAPPEN TO RASSLIN EVER OF ALL TIMEZ" arguments creep their way in. You know, the people who will give the man no credit for anything he's ever done or accomplished. They'd be easy to ignore, unfortunately they get quoted over and over by the ULTRA OMG YAY SEENA FANS!!!11!. You know, the ones who think the man is the lord almighty himself. God forbid they let one even seemingly minuscule negative comment about John Cena go by. You want to not like their hero? They'll let you hear about it for the next 10 pages. Didn't like one of his matches? TOO BAD! GOOD FOR BUSINESS! Don't care for the spinner belt? TOO BAD! GOOD FOR BUSINESS! Are you aware that we're just talking about personal preference of the man and not what's good or not for busine... TOO BAD! GOOD FOR BUSINESS! Well than, I guess you sure showed me didn't you?
Occasionally in the middle of this someone will come forth with another reasonable post, but it'll be lost amidst pages and pages of useless bickering, name calling, downright ridiculous arguments about how the world would be a better place without him and how if he were gone some people might die inside.
*ahem*
So uh, no. Not so much.

I love them. No topic elicits such a wide range of responses and opinions.
Just like the character itself its the most entertaining thing on the board.

I actually don't mind John Cena although a lot of that might be to do with the fact he is not carrying the strap at the moment, I am hopeful that the next time he does win the title it wont be half as long as his last reign.
Cena is a good debate if there is enough intelligent posters to help with the progression of the article, if its full of marks even the intelligent posters can become irked and annoyed with the path it will inevitably take.
I think when discussing the downside to John Cena I always seem to remember the fact that he is supposedly one of the good guys in the business and its hard to be negative to someone who will probably do anything it takes to make the business a success and in doing so try and make it as enjoyable as possible for us - the fans

No, no Cena debates here. This is a debate about the debates. I disagree, the fans are wrong and I'm right. Listen to the people, they're sick of the debates unless I need them to prove a point. Debates draw money but suck big time, unless they've not got a proper title in which case the debate is worthwhile. I'll defend the debates until my favourite debater comes again and is put down in a debate which renders the debate irrelevant. Then there's superman debates which suck unless another debate I like wins the debate. Personally I'm sick of the debates because one debater always is right and the other is always wrong, depending on the debate. And if the debate draws money, then that debate is ok. Yet if the debate was to be as edgy as it once was, then there would be no more debate. Except the fans would then hate to debate, which in turn would get much love after six months until the debates are debated again. You see?

Granted most people have logical points but it does get annoying that one pops up a little too frequently. They are entertaining though when people post things that are not educated.

I am being completely stupid and sarcastic in this thread, I do apologise.
The previous poster whom I quoted hit the nail on the head perfectly with his analysis, hence my previous posts...

Incidentally, I thought this thread was referring to the filler segments where the two title contenders stand in the ring and say moronic things to each other, because the bookers are so inept that they can't think of any other way to further their fued.
And I vote Snitsky.

And a table in the ring, which mics or a vase on it. Only if someone goes through said table. Oh, it's definitely a lock for the table to be smashed up if there's one set up in the ring. I honestly can't remember the last time there was a contract signing or a debate where this did NOT happen....!
