Reading through the script, that's a great start to a series right there.

thats a nice script. I read the whole thing and it flowed well as any script should. I write scripts myself, and yours as a better script feel then mine, even though I do screen plays. outside of sailor moon, dbz and the basics Im not too into anime... but content wise it doesnt stand as... but its a series and can build up, adding original aspects as it goes along.

Thanks you guys. I appreciate you taking the time to read the script. Means a lot to me.
I also write features, (well I'm working on some.) this was my first try with anime and it is influenced by Sailor Moon in case anyone noticed.
I'm working on a horror flick (Vile) and a drug flick (Vein).

the sailor moon comparison is obvious from her name, and school outfit. I meant to say content wise its not as original as it could be, even though everything seems similar in anime.

For those of you who read the script, what did you like/didn't like? I'm curious what caught people's attention.

You say it's not original but I disagree. Sure the overall theme doesn't really jump out at you but your spin as you put it certainly does. I like your style and hope they take a long, hard look at this. Toei could do far worse, I assure you. This isn't a standard WC support our own post either. This is someone who doesn't care for 90% of most animes telling you this.

Overall I enjoyed your pilot very much here's what really lept out at me I really liked her extremely long and precise explanation of what photosynthesis is and the teacher and student reactions I liked the jock confrontation (the line stating a rock could throw faster was kind of an odd thing for an exceptionally bright girl to say though...though on the spot quips can be tough during the heat of the moment) In the death of thug 1 I really like the spine removal and THEN slicing it in half (seems kind of a moot point to chop it half after being removed but still I really like it )...makes it really visually unique and interesting Things I was confused by she gets picked up by the leaping old man and tells him to put her down in a voice over? Then it says he ignores her...of course he does; he's not a mind reader...or is he? I think it's a very good opening episode to get the audience to sympathize with the protagonist and want to see what will happen to her next. I hope the studio picks it up. PS: I know this is only the pilot, but here's my prediction for the season finale... Jin is actually The Boss, and he has manipulated Isaya into killing off his competition throughout the entire first season (SWERVE!)

Jin is actually The Boss, and he has manipulated Isaya into killing off his competition throughout the entire first season (SWERVE!) then after he is done pretending to train her, he jumps up and down yelling "im king kong, crimson star aint got nothing on me"

That was a typo, the program I use auto types for you and I didn't see that upon proof reading. You say it's not original but I disagree.
