I wwas looking at the wreckless intent cd the other day and saw CM Punk's theme by KSE was on there and tht reminded me that i remember on SD! Maggle saying ' new music is the only good thing this week for orton' and i realised they obv used this for Randy then switched back to his old theme wen punk came into WWE. Why did they do that? has this happened before?
heres the clip btw:

I think it was one of those instances when they experimented with a theme, realized it didn't work and quickly switched back. They did the same thing with a Kurt Angle rock remix of this theme and a couple of others. In theory it probably sounds cool, but when the live crowd is there and the lights, pyro, etc, it quickly becomes apparent that it doesn't work.
And that theme definitely didn't fit Orton.

That's an understatement. It fit about as well as U CANT TOUCH THIS for Orndorf.

Interesting, this version of it cut out the ROARING lyric part. It just cuts right to the whole "even through the darkest days, this fire burns" part

Real American was originally made for Windham and Rotundo and then went to Hogan.

Don't forget Hogan's music was given to Pat Patterson in the late 90s!

Zach Gowen's theme was originally for Angle. (It still has the classic "Medal" riff)

Oh yes, I forgot about when the WWF ripped off the Notorious B.I.G. and gave The Rock an instrumental "Hypnotize" for one week.
Quality isn't that great, but here it is:

Who can forget that the King of Harts, Owen Hart got his theme from a song called "I want to be a Hulkamaniac"...
That song is just terrible.
