Pwinsider has an article (here www.pwinsider.com/ViewArticle.php?id=32522&p=1 ) talking about the Dudley Boyz contracts at TNA being up in September. It looks at their options, including a return to WWE. So what do you reckon? Will they be back? I note in an clip from the shoot interview they did, it was mentioned that if they were able to deal with Vince directly instead of through Johnny Ace (who stabbed them in the back), they'd still be there

Although I love the Dudleyz, I think their time has passed.

If Bubba/Ray/whatever could slim down and actually start moving again, they could be great.
Though prior to the Adamle GM/Punk WHC booking kookiness, I wouldn't have been optimistic about their chances. They probably would've been split up in meaningless singles runs.
Now that the E is doing crazy-go-nuts booking, if they were kept together as a team (and again, if Bubba/Ray could step it up a notch in the ring), they could be great.
I doubt it'll happen though.

I think the Dudleys have one more decent run in them.

I thought they were going to leave TNA and go back to WWE after their feud with Motor City Machine Guns.

Bubba Ray is one of the few remaining things about TNA that still annoys me. And I'm pretty numb to The E these days, anyway... so YES! Please let the Dudleyz return!

What's wrong with what they're doing in TNA?

the E would probably motivate Bubba to lose some weight and I love the Dudleyz they inspired me to finally start watching TNA but it proably won't happen although i'd mark if they did ;D

It annoys me that whenever a TNA guy's contract is up people naturally assume they'll want to jump to WWE.

Going by their shoot interview, they have no emnity towards Vince. The only person they're really pissed at was Johnny Ace.
They said even though they like it in TNA, they wouldn't rule out a return to the WWE one day.

Dudleys were cool. Team 3D, not so much.

I used to care and wanted them to wrestle under the Dudley Boys name before they retired, but I now I don't really care. What would they do? Feud with Rhodes and Dibiase? Then what? Feud with Cryme Tyme? Jesse and Festus? Ryder and Hawkins? I'm sure they could have a decent time in WWE again, but I am not really excited about the possibilities of a potential return to WWE.

Am I the only one who wants to see a Dudleys (Heels) feud with Miz and Morrision (faces). Something similiar to the MCMG and the Team 3D feud in TNA.

The Dudleys are past there prime and out of shape and sluggish in the ring they were good back when they were in WWF before going to TNA. All they would do now if they went to WWE is keep a young team or the younger stars back.

All they would do now if they went to WWE is keep a young team or the younger stars back. Actually that's false because they were willing to go to OVW to help out the up and comers and they were slated to feud with MNM and put them over in 2004, but the contract renegotiation fell through.

The crowd would pop huge and it would light a fire in the stale WWE tag division. If they wanted to come back, I can't think of a problem with it.

The "Dudleyz to WWE" rumors seem to pop up every couple of months. I seriously doubt there's anything to them this time. I'm not sure what, if anything they could contribute at this point anyway other than a short nostalgia run.
