Judging by his age and experience, I don't think he's making this stuff up.

To think that there is not life in the universe is totally naive.

"During the Apollo 14 flight he conducted private ESP experiments with his friends on Earth." o.O

To think that there is not life in the universe is totally naive. Exactly. And George Carlin made a great point about people who believe in God and people who believe in UFOs. The former are highly respected and feared while the latter are ridiculed and shunned. The point he was trying to make is that there is likely more evidence of UFOs than there is evidence of God.

Those weren't aliens. It's all part of the secret government plot to try and clone Emmanuel Lewis.

That theory ties in with the "Faked Moon Walk theory #45", in that said theory proposes that the Moon Landing took place, but the footage was faked due to what the Astronauts found there: Proof of life/extraterrestrial civilization.
With one of the moon walkers saying such a thing now, the theory gains ground.

Everyone has horrible things to say about the government and how stupid they are...yet we're supposed to believe that they are genius enough to hide something like this?
Also, why would the aliens ONLY exclusively deal with human government stooges and not with society as a whole? I think "ordinary" men and women are far better to learn from than a bunch of suits.
Yes, it's insanely stupid to believe that there are no alien life forms out there, but I just don't believe that any have been to Earth yet. I don't see any real evidence that the world governments are that super smart to hide something like that, or that real aliens are goofy an sneaky enough to not bother trying to talk to the "normal" man in his/her own environment.

Umm, I think alien abductions would be the extent of their dealings with regular folks.

But....they have. Just about every "close encounter" story there is, comes from regular Janes and Joes, not corporate suits.

I'm starting to think that 2012, even if overhyped, will definitely hold something for us.

I'm starting to think that 2012, even if overhyped, will definitely hold something for us. Have thought that for some time now...only four years to go till we find out for certain. Wouldn't bet against the Mayans. They have this streak going that WE have yet to duplicate, even with our advanced technology.

Hell, if it means a new era of enlightenment, I welcome it with open arms. Now's a good time to examine how you live and how you deal with people and things in general. It has nothing to do with religion and all with how you conduct yourself within this universe. You ask, and it will deliver.

Should have added....

First Hour: Richard C. Hoagland will react to the Edgar Mitchell UFO story.
