I used to watch this show all the time as a kid! ;D I know Hudson and Zbysko usually did commentary, but now and then the likes of Tenay and Bobby Heenan stepped in, but what was the name of the Latino announcer? I'd never heard him on Nitro or Thunder but he did a few Worldwide's with Hudson when Zbysko wasn't there. Like I say, he was a Latino, or at least doing a Latino gimmick and he was just the most generic heel announcer I've ever heard. I seem to remember him going on about the NWO all the time, when they reformed with Nash, Hall, Bret Hart and Jarrett. What was his name? Does anyone know who I'm talking about?... You've asked me this before, and I didn't know, but after converting some old VHS episodes to DVD for undertakermark345, I found out. His name was 'Armando Contero' or something like that, I heard the announcers mention it (when Zybysko replaced him). A Google search says he also commentated at TNA's 2003 weekly PPVs.

EDIT - also, check your emails.

I do! I do!
I remember randomly, this was my only fix of WCW for a long time besides buying video tapes, or borrowing them. Before it was a one time watching Nitro on TNT in my sisters house. They eventually stopped doing the shows in sequence, and the first one they did was of the only nitro Id watched previously. For the first time in WCW, whilst watching I knew what was gonna actually happen hahah.
I enjoyed it though, back then I enjoyed all I could get but it was put together like a highlights show of something you had to of already seen. I remember the latino commentator aswell, talking about turning the commentary into spanish when he watches wrestling lol.
