Last one got locked, figured I'd start a new one.
And if I may make a suggestion, I think that using Peach in the Boss Battles may be a keen strategy, what with her ability to hover and repreatedly strike in midair, which is helpful against many of the bosses.

I'd rather use Toon Link. Clear hard and Very Hard with him.

I use the ice climbers. Im unbeaten with them. I could probably do it with Kirby or Sonic, probably. In other news, I can beat the 100 man brawl in under 3:30 with Pikachu....problem is around the last 20 guys, i can barely get a hit off without being gang attacked. Pikachu's thunder is ungodly, but I dont have enough time to set it off without being capped.

I can't seem to get through 15-Minute Brawl, though. And Cruel Brawl? Pff. I got a couple KOs as Ike, but beyond that...

Oh and ADS, to answer your question on how to get 400 combined in training, just go to Shadow Moses Island as a small character (like Kirby, Pikachu, or Meta Knight) and have a big character as your opponent (I used Ganondorf). Next, stand right to your opponent and use Superspicy Curry. If done right, you can get a Max Combo higher than 100.

Or you can do it the old-fashioned Melee way: Control Kirby, take a CPU Bowser to Hyrule Temple, and combo away against that wall.

I beat Intense on Classic with Pikachu...all I can say is you better have extra coins sitting around Also in case people didn't know (like me) in order to get the boss trophies, you have to use a trophy stand, the problem is, the trophy stands don't show up very often. However, the harder the difficulty, the better chances of having a trophy stand show up. I've only got Petey and that Pokemon dragon so far...I can't wait to get Tabbu

Finally beat the 100 man brawl. Didn't get 3:30, but at least I got it done. Thank you, pikachu ;D As for the cruel brawl, HOW THE HELL CAN YOU GET 5 KO'S?! I can barely get two D: I wrote this in the last thread, didn't get much feedback but it might help you... Oh man, the Cruel Brawl is absolutely ridiculous... I did find a way that seems to work pretty well. First and foremost, pick Captain Falcon. As soon as the match starts, dodge left twice, wait a second, and go for the Forward+B (Dashing Uppercut). Now, lather, rinse, repeat... Seriously... Just keep doing the forward+B and dodge to get yourself into better positions. If you fly off the edge, DO NOT try and jump directly back on the platform as the Alloys will always be waiting in a group and will hurt you as soon as you come near them. Always go for the edge and always try and get to the edge from the bottom as opposed to the top or side. When you're at the edge the enemies are ridiculously stupid and will jump to try and eliminate you so you can always get one or two (if you're lucky) to just fall off the stage randomly. When you get on the edge, if all the guys are near the edge, hit A or B to hit them all. If the guys are spread out a little more, drop down off the edge then jump right back on and try again. Seriously, the biggest pro-tip I can give you is that the edge is their biggest enemy and you can easily eliminate people that way. Otherwise, Falcon's dashing uppercut can throw multiple people in the air and, at around 70%, eliminate them. It takes a ton of work to get the pattern down (And even then the computers are constantly changing up what they do slightly) but I think it can definitely be done. I got 3 kills (With one guy just about to die) before I died. Here are some tips on the enemies themselves... Green Alloy = Huge Kirby. He is a powerhouse and will eliminate you with almost everything in his arsenal. Try to always counterattack this one as most of his ground attacks will definitely eliminate you. When he is below the ground part of the Battlefield, he will always inevitably run out of air and not make it back, so if you can, make sure he goes down there. Red Alloy = Captain Falcon. He is an expert at the Bionic Knee (AKA Knee of Truth... Forward+A in the air) and can get off quick Forward+A on the ground. He seems to be the most prone to falling off the stage as almost every time, as soon as I hit the edge he jumps off and inevitably doesn't come back. Blue Alloy = Falco. While most of his moves hurt, his standing attacks eliminate the most. Watch out for his standing A, as that seems to be his big move. While he doesn't hurt as much as the Green Alloy, he eliminated me way more due to his speed. Watch out for this bastard. Yellow Alloy = Mario. He is the possibly the easiest of the 4 types, but his air attacks eliminate far more than anybody else. He will also get eliminated by attacks more often than the rest. One thing that can definitely help you is the idea that the Alloys have no use of the B moves, meaning they only have a second jump. Knock them far enough and they have no chance. That's the only real help I can offer as I couldn't even get to 5, but I did get damn close. Just keep altering your strategy and pick somebody who's got a quick recovery time for their moves as any opening will be used to destroy you.

Your best bet for Cruel, is to just keep playing it in the hopes that you master the controls for that character and know every little thing, and hope that a few people chase you off the edge and end up killing themselves. That's what I did with Lucas and I got 6 KOs with him If you get 10 KOs you get a Liquid Snake sticker, which I really really really want

I must ask...am I the only one who has had problems calling the modes "_____ Melee" instead of "_____ Brawl" now? Seriously, its like when it switched to WWE and nobody could get used to that.
For Cruel Brawl I just used Charizard and spammed his Strong up+a attack (not smash...if you have a GC controller turn tap jump off to avoid the risk of being KO'd on midair), his fly move, and rock smash. I got 6 this way, but not after SEVERAL attempts ending with somewhere around 0-2. I don't even remember seeing 2 of them die when I pulled it off.
I just can't believe you need TEN to get the Liquid Snake sticker...a sca rewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww that.
Ya wanna know what sucks worse? Beating the 100-man brawl in 4 minutes and 0.40 seconds when youre trying to beat it in under 4 minutes. That one ruined my day.
On a positive note, my online is working with Brawl now and not shutting down the entire network after 15 minutes, so if ya want to play me, message me (I'm not on here too often and would prefer not to shuffle though page after page). if you have messaged me before with your code then I still have it and will punch it in next time I'm on (which would be when my little bros done).
My name is Ed&EJ (me and my little bro split the online mode). If it's Ganondorf or Toon Link it's Ethan (my little brother), if its Luigi, Pit, R.O.B., or Snake, its me.

Or, just make a stage in the stage creator that's one long platform with a small hallway, put a character up against the wall, use falco, hit A until you get the spinning wing strikes, and hold down A until you're around 500 damage or so. 400+ hit combo, with one person. No problem. Same works with Kirby, of course

I can't wait until they make an Action Replay for this crap
I mean I can do most things, but the times on the Target tests as well as some of the trophies of people you can ONLY collect during the SSE, it really annoys me especially when things get screwed up.

I believe that my problem lies with some of the characters getting smart and not coming near me while I just repeatedly thunder. (If you can do it in just the right spot on the bottom level, it can take out anyone near you.)

My problem lies within the fact that the only time you seem to ever get trophy stands in SSE, is when the difficulty is on Very Hard, then they show up maybe twice during a level. Add onto the fact that whenever I get the stands, it's either during an intense battle with about 10 guys, or at the end of an area when no one is left alive. Not to mention, the enemies are much much more difficult (obviously) but I've had about 4 cases where I'll get a couple of trophies, yet I'll get a game over, thus the trophies are lost. I'm sick of redoing all this crap.
