Thanks to EA letting players upload highlights to their site, I'm able to preserve my greatest moment of Madden 09 so far. The story here is I was down 18 - 14 to the Patriots in Foxboro with 10 seconds left in the 4th quarter, and I was at midfield. And then this happened. :-D www.easportsworld.com/en_US/video/260027Sure its just a videogame highlight, but its one of those small things that puts you in a good mood all night.

Speaking of Madden Highlights. I caved in and bought Madden 09. First NFL game I've bought since NFL 2k5. This years version is SO much better. I rented the last couple years and hated them.
I saw you can make leagues online. Is there a Wrestlecrap League on the 360 version?

I remember in Madden 07, I was the Lions playing against the Vikings. I was down 20-14 with about :15 left on the clock in the 4th quarter. I threw a pass down the middle to Kevin Jones, then realized I had no timeouts left! I hurriedly slid down and got the offense to the line. I was pressing the A button furiously trying to get the snap off before time expired. I did just as the clock hit :00, and Jon Kitna threw a bullet from the 25 yard line into the end zone, where Roy Williams snagged it out of the air in the middle back of the end zone to put me ahead with no time remaining.
If only the Lions could pull off such heroics in real life...

In last year's version, I was trailing a friend by four with one play left. I needed thirty-some yards, I think, and tried to be sneaky about it. He started out in prevent, but changed into man. I threw a screen to my back, and he trudged down the sideline. Got to the two then tried to do the jump animation thing...
One of his dudes came out of straight nowhere, and blasted me. I lost...so pissed

I usually don't cheer our biggest division rivals, but if it's torward knocking off an arrogant overrated team from an arrogant (when it comes to sports) town, I like it.
Trust me though, the day he pulls that crap on us I will not be happy.

I also wonder if alot of you are like me in that most of the time I'll start a franchise with a different team than I normally cheer for. I love the Lions, but playing as only them on a game gets boring really fast. I picked Denver because I love their old uni's, plus Jay Cutler is from my area.

Oakland, Kansas City, San Diego, and Denver are each others biggest rivals. In fact, their division is in my eyes the most intense division in the NFL.

But from what I get from history, the Chiefs and Raiders are SWORN arch enemies, as in arguably the biggest rivalry in the NFL.

In Superstar mode I got drafted by the 49ers and I was pissed. I bit the bullet and lived with it though. That said, when you are training people does anyone have any tips for the 40-yard-dash and weightlifiting? Also, how do you know what your score is on those things? Not your time and total, but your score you have to reach.

I mean it is like the Cowboys' sworn enemies, the Eagles, the Steelers, the Giants, the Packers, the Bears, and aw hell, the Cowboys are enemies with all of the NFC.

wow, talk about busted coverage on that play. I guess they weren't expecting me to throw it to Marshall, which I rarely did that whole game, oh well.

Ok, lets be honest. Which teams in the NFL don't have a rivalry. Someday when the Vikings play the Cardinals, I'm sure the announcers will be talking about the bitter rivalry the teams have had for years, and it would stem from a goat for some reason.

Most of the big rivalries in the NFL are divisional. The ones I like are the inter-divisional ones. Patriots/Colts (allthough this started as a divisional rivalry in the 70's), Raiders/Steelers, Cowboys/Steelers, Packers/Cowboys, Cowboys/49ers, Giants/49ers. There needs to be more inter-divisional rivalries in the NFL.

The Panthers and 49ers had a pretty good rivalry going on for a while, all be it that was because the Panthers were in the Western Division at that time.
