I have a 360 and a ps3, but I'd rather wait for the PS3 version because PS3 graphics are better . Rather that's true or not, and I'm not getting into that debate rather we're talking about just this game or in general, I don't think the graphics in Rock Band matter to much.

ALL I WANTED WAS TO BELIEVE MY PS3 WAS WORTH SOMETHING MORE THAN A BLUE-RAY PLAYER! IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR?! Truth is, I will get it for ps3 because that's the console I bought the first one for. Also, I don't really care about Rock Band. It's fun, but it's one of those pick up and play games. I am more excited for games like Silent Hill 5: Homecoming, Far Cry 2, Resident Evil 5, Fallout 3 and so on.. (Personal opinion.)

From everything I've read (game previews, Wikipedia, Game Informer, IGN Interviews, ect) not only are the DLCs supposed to be transferable, but all the songs from the first game are supposed to be as well.

Has/will RB 1 drop in price as a response to this?

Both games will allow the DLC. However, they really need to start pushing more decent songs. All That Remains? Really? Also, the day RB2 is released on the 360, there will be an update online. Once you download it, there'll be a new button... "TRANSFER". For $5.00, you will be able to transfer every song spare 3 (Enter Sandman, Run to the Hills, and some other heavy song..., no loss for me...) to Rock Band 2. There's an exec. at Harmonix that says by the end of the year, the RB 2 library should be close to 500 songs. That's just great.

...THAT ROCK BAND 2 COMES OUT A LITTLE OVER A WEEK!!! ...Sorry, don't mean to get all out of shape, but that snuck up on my radar. *Goes to make plans for Sunday at Midnight* Yeah, but only for X-Box 360. PS3's doesn't come out until October. Stupid Bill Gates and his billions of dollars! Pardon the interruption, but this makes me think. Now that Gates is retired, who will we blame for our problems now?

Go to Best Buy and pre order it and you'll get a nice Rock Band 2 t-shirt!!! As far as the transferrable songs, on the pre order card that came with the shirt, it has a mock cover for the game, and it says all DLC will be compatible and most songs from RB 1 will be trasferrable

...I haven't actually played it yet. Is it as fun as everyone says? And does Slash from Velvet Revolver really emerge from within your skin as you play the game and put his cigarette out on your brand new living room carpet?

...I haven't actually played it yet. Is it as fun as everyone says? And does Slash from Velvet Revolver really emerge from within your skin as you play the game and put his cigarette out on your brand new living room carpet? It is damn fun. But I went with that one first since I had played GH2 first, and wasn't able to get Rock Band when it came out. So I might be slanted one way. Others dislike it compared to the Harmonix games but I find little fault with it. And no, that doesn't happen.
