£50 to see 40 minutes of comedy is outrageous. But I did love the screaming of 'I've seen longer clips on YouTube' from the audience at her.

Eh, I still love her TV show. I've never been a fan of her comedy act.

Let's see 50 Euros is equal to roughly $67. Yeah, there is no excuse for that. I would be pretty pissed too if I had paid $67 to see 40 minutes of comedy. Unless there was a few opening acts, but still, $67? yeah, that is. I saw Brian Poshen(who ironically is also on The Sarah Silverman Program) earlier this year for $20(counting drinks), and he performed for at least an hour, and there were 2 opening acts who performed at least 20-30 minutes. So I paid about $10 an hour for awesome comedy. And just a nitpick, spyke, but it was 50 Pounds Sterling, which equals about $87.

I once paid 90 bucks through an online ticket broker to catch Jeff Dunham, but I laughed so much my sides hurt. So it was worth it.

Basically, she was cute, as far as female comedians go (This was a time before the Fey-Polar team formed), and she says shocking things. You see, stand up comedy in White America is just that, you swear a lot while telling observational jokes, and everyone calls you edgy and brillant.

And she's not really cute enough or funny enough to really last. I've always found her annoying. Just because you're riding Jimmy Kimmell's crotch doesn't make you important. (And now that she doesn't even have THAT...)

They got what they deserved for wanting to see her worthless ass in the first place.
But it is funny to me that we went from Dane Cook to Carlos Mencia to Sarah Silverman as the comedians to hate du jour.

God, I can't stand her. Seriously, it pissed me off when I heard she got a show. I don't find her funny, and don't see what makes her so funny to others.

She was on a Talk show on friday, here in the UK and she was bloody annoying. If that's how she does comedy, from what I saw on friday night, then she isn't going to get big here. Yep, it was just embarassing. But then again, Catherine Tate is quite popular here so who knows. Having seen some of her other work I can safely say that she smurfing sucks.

I think the cheapest thing a comedian has ever done as far as ripping of the fans is Peter Kay. The over-rated one released the same stand up show twice on DVD just done from different arenas, then when next Christmas rolls around he releases the ever so humble-titled "Nations Favorite Comic" DVD featuring old clips from his past DVD's interspersed with footage of lollypop men doing his catchphrases and bin men going on about how great he is. The best part is DVD was released after channel 4 did a list show for the 100 greatest stand up comedians, obviously Kay thought he was going to win and could cash in on it. He ended up placing third place in the list. Money grabbing whore.

Though maybe if they stay together, they can minimize their lackluster exposure for the rest of us.

I disagree with the consensus here that she is unfunny, and offensive. But then I can, because well those are both subjective calls.
Fortunately, it takes a lot to offend me (moral outrage on petty stuff pretty much is the easiest way, but again subjective). And I've got a broad sense of humor, which runs black, bleak, and bitter often enough. Her intentional and whimsically offensive act appeals to me, but I can easily concede she is definitively not for everyone.
