I want to see more of these two together, their match last night kicked ass and Kozlov's finisher was bad ass, that was really using his head.
I hope they fight agian next week, but this time ending in a coutout from an outside the ring brawl. Which of course would stop Festus in his tracks and leave Kozlov to destroy him to continue the fued.

I like Festus matches in general. Most hosses tend to knock their opponent down then kinda pace around them for a bit, deliver another move to knock opponent down...etc.
Festus stays really active out there, and even though he doesn't do any one thing that's particularly exciting...he's always moving and it makes the matches fun to watch.

You know, I have never thought about it like that before, that is exactly the reason why I like festus so much Not sure how he would translate into longer maches though?

But he has gained a lot of popularity so there is going to be a singles push sometime down the line for him. So he will probably have to change that "smash mouth in your style face" that he uses.

Probably not so much, assuming he stayed face. As a face in the WWE you'll usually spend a good amount of time playing face in peril, sitting in a resthold or two etc...the classic match format. He can make his comeback and do his stuff for a bit, then resume being beat down and all that. A longer Festus match handled in that manner would be similar to a Kane match (Face Kane that is), which isn't bad.

It was a damn good match.
...and your right about Festus, he's always go-getting, makes for fun watching.

Far far down the line after jesse and festus split up and he has had a succesfully solo face run and his current gimmick has run it course. I'd love for them to rehash the Waylon Mercy Gimmick with him. He seems like a guy who could really pull it off. Have a storyline where he gets instatutionised for a while which "cures" him, but it hasn't fully.

I don't think he really needs another gimmick, the whole bell things working well for him.
Hopefully they can repacking him slightly as capable of speaking but softer pre-bell.
...and sort the damn hair out....
He's pretty over already anywho

I don't like either one of these guys, but their match last night entertained me more than anything either has ever done. Their styles together makes for a good match.

I love Kozlov's headbut finisher, especially the one last night that came out of knowhere.
But damn if he keeps using it he's just begging for some neck surgery in the future.

Festus honestly reminds me of Terry Gordy. Maybe its his build or that he's tagging with Terry's son... but I just get that vibe from him.

I would love to see a match between Festus and Vladimir where Vlad just breaks Festus down so much that after the match Festus just snaps and stays smart the way he is in the ring... with Jesse there also... this could be spun into a new take on their tag team and make them more credible in the ring.

I started watching the Olympics just as the match started. Didn't expect to see anything at all.

Glad to see some Festus love around here. I wish he would go to PetSmart and get another Willow and become the Deacon again, but hey, we can't always get what we want, and this gimmick is fun.

That match was very entertaining, and FAR better than seeing them both squash jobbers.

I loved this match last night. 2 big monsters just stiffing each other. The intensity was great, and JR/Tazz sold the match really well.
Seriously I want to see more of these 2. That was the most impactful belly to belly ever/
