I would recommend Billy Graham and Freddy Blassie's books.

Look for Diana Hart's book... hard to find, but well, well worth your time. The best part about that book is, if you're out of toilet paper...biggity bam.....you have 200 sheets worth. Awful book, filled with lies and taken off the shelves.

Bret's is fantastic, and worth getting it off the 'net. Enjoyed every page, and really gives you an insight into not only Bret's life, but the buisness.
Eddie's book was fantastic as well, and Edge's was decent.

Oh, forgot one VERY important one. Scott Williams' "Hardcore History - The Extremely Unauthorized History of ECW" is an ABSOLUTE must-have. Forget the crappy Rise and Fall of ECW book that came out by WWE, this one eclipses it completely. I love that book! I got it for my birthday 2 years ago (my ma ordered it six months before it!!), and I've read it a good 5-6 times. Really well written, and theres no bias, like WWE's version.

Edges is cool, makes it hard to hate the guy after reading it. i always crack up reading about the time when he touring with an Indie promotion the van broke down a frozen lake in the middle of a canadian winter, Rhino panicked went running..the ewrong way..relised it ..ran back..couldn't slow and crashed into Christion(so thats where the gore origionated ) Yes, the Winter Death Tour stuff was awesome. As was the encounter with the Rasta guy on the bus. Edge's book really is a light read, and hilarious. It's not as funny as Jericho's book though. What massively helps Edge's book, is that he wrote it, and it makes it easier to read. Foley's first 2 books and Jericho's book are the best.

A lot of people didn't like it, but I LOVED Hardcore Diaries. It felt like I was going along for the ride with Foley in June 2006 with the ECW stuff.
Have A Nice Day is the best, however I have yet to read Bret and Jericho's books which I regret so far.
Foley is Good is decent but drags.
I've read the first chapters of Bischoff's book and stopped...it's very, very dry.

I liked Arn Anderson's. It was somewhat strange in that a lot of it (but not all) is told from a kayfabe point of view so it might not appeal to everyone, but I enjoyed it.

If you like the older, territory days, " Pain and Passion: The History of Stampede Wrestling" is an amazing look into a legendary promotion.

Has anyone read "Wrestling with the truth" by Bruno "Harvey Wippleman" Lauer yet? I'm considering buying this book (along with Bret Harts book) but don't want to get it if it's crappy.

Jericho's book is a definite must-read. I also really liked the book on the National Wrestling Alliance, but you have to really love the history of the business to enjoy it.

I read the 'Wrestling With The Truth Book' a couple months ago, it was pretty good for a one time read. He talks a lot about his time working on the indy's before moving up to WWF. Some good stories about Sid and Joey Marella stand out. Like I said, good for a one time read. I've read it and I'm done with it, so if you're interested, I'd be willing to part with mine. All I ask is half what I paid (I paid $20) and the cost of shipping. Send me a PM if you're interested....

I liked eddies, especially the insights to the mexican scene, thought the whole story that starts with sleeping with cockroaches then ended with him getting so much sunburn that every move in the ring was agony

I thought the Shawn Michaels book was great. I could not get through Foley's to save my life. I tried 3 times. I recomend Flair's, Lawler's and Piper's (wich I have read twice.). Jericho's was awesome. I also read it twice. Also I read Everybody's Got A Price By Ted D. (can't spell his last name lol) It made me laugh and cry. I've read many other wrestling books too.

If you have to get one book get Bret Harts book absolutly incredible and the detail of the matches and life of a wrestler is fantastic.Very honest and he gives everyone there dues (he praises HBK several times in the book) And it pulls no punches with everyone.
Both JR and Mick Foley have praised the book which should say something.

I have friends that don't even watch wrestling who have read Jericho's book after seeing how much I laughed about it and absolutely loved it. My one friend is female, doesn't watch wrestling and doesn't read non-fiction and she couldn't stop raving about it. If that's any indication of the awesomeness of that book.

Lou Thesz's, "Hooker" is THE book you must get. It's a bio of Lou and a complete history of wrestling. It's great. It'll cost you a little, but it is so worth it.
Bret's book is really good if you like the Canadian wrestlers like Dynamite, British Bulldog, and others. It's not just a bio of him, as he goes into detail about Davey and Dynamite. His book covers all of his world travels and pretty much every promotion he's wrestled in. It's really good.
The Dynamite Kid's book was good, but I can't remember much about it because I read it a long time ago.
Freddie Blassie's book is definitely worth your time. It's overall a really good book.
