Kennedy is not a second generation star who Vince is fond of. Neither is Randy; Randy's third generation.

This sucks.
Kennedy is probably my favorite mic worker in the entire WWE right now (that distinction might actually go to Edge, but I can't choose right now). It's a shame that Kennedy just doesn't seem tough enough to be a wrestler. And that's not a slam on him... it's just something that seems to be the case. He's got a good physique, but it just seems his body can't withstand the abuse.
Even if he never sets foot in the ring again, WWE would be stupid to let him go. He's that good on the mic in my opinion. Make him a full time announcer, manager, etc.

*bangs head against wall*
Seriously, Kennedy is my favourite wrestler, this sucks.
This probsbly won't happen, but I'd like to see them put Kennedy on ECW when he returns, and just build the show around him. Then, if he's proved that he won't be injured 3 months down the line again, then he can be moved back up. He needs a good strong year of continual action without injury. It sucks to see him in the mid-card and not progressing upwards, and as long as he keeps getting injured, he'll never get that chance.
So I say build him up as much as possible on ECW, let him prove himself, then if he can stay fit for a serious length of time, bring him back.
Either that, or as soon as he returns, put him straight into a push. It could work, but I can't see him getting bigger reactions than Jeff or HHH without a push, and therefore he's always going to be stuck as at least the 3rd best face on SD, and he has the potential for so much more. He could be THE MAN. Give him the build up on ECW, let him grow, then send him to Raw, a good month of restablishing himself with that audience after building up ECW, and I think he'd be a superstar.
It won't happen, and probably shouldn't happen as he's too valuable to SD, but that's what I'd like from a personal vantage point.

I look for him to be looking at "future endeavours" this time next year. I have a feeling he's gonna get one more shot to be sucessful before that happens but certainly not impossible.

I like him but he isn't going to have a long career if he is this injury prone.

I hope they give him his own talk show segment while he's towards the end of his conditioning before he returns. Yes. That or part of a three man both on Smackdown.

I hope he recovers, but i have zero interest in seeing him wrestle again or announce, have an interview segment or anything. I think he survived for a LONG time of built up hype and expectations and as they waned month after month ir became clear this guy may not have had "it" after all.

Come on... Can every hater stop saying Kennedy is sooo injury prone ? The guy had 3 injuries in 3 years since his SD debuts. He did stay heathly for one year on RAW actually. It's just bad luck.
3 injuries in 3 years is nor soooo more than other wrestlers, edge, orton, mysterio etc... SHould they stop wrestling ? SGould ANgle stop wrestling ?
Now the 6 month pause is hard, but he will be pushed to the moon when he returns. That's what long miss do to wrestlers with big affective support. When he first unjured himself in SD, he was 2 times more popular when he returned.
The best part is that those kind of desappearing can make people forget all the bad things, as his constant change of gimick last weeks. They will just remember the regal thing and the overness.

Lets face it. He was suspended for wellness. While the juice does make you buff I think its widely believed / proven that it also can make a person more likey to injure themselves.. HHH's Quads? Kevin Nash's various injuries etc. Maybe Kennedy's body simply isnt as genetically sound as some who are able to make the juice work for them without being injured frequently

Does anyone know if he was this injury prone during his time in the indies and OVW, or is this just a recent phenomenon?
