I wasn't actually posting on the boards back when The Blue Meanie was around... I was just reading stuff. But I always thought it really neat that he was on here.
This is an odd question to answer, honestly. You know as well as I do anyone "big" is never going to join an internet message board. Cena, Batista, Hunter, Flair, Taker, Austin, Sting. All these guys don't have the time or probably the want to be on here. I'm not saying that guys like The Meanie aren't "big" ... but he's no John Cena. I'm sure The Meanie would admit to that himself.
Its much more likely that someone like The Hurricane would eventually show up on here. Someone like that is going to fit in. You know he'd be all for arguing over Iron Man vs. Batman and all that other nerdy stuff just like the rest of us.
Point is any wrestler that is willing to sign up... chances are is going to fit in with the majority of the board to begin with.

If Mickie James joined the board...this whole board would shut down I'd give Mickie three hours before she deletes her account after she receives an avalanche of creepy PMs. I know the feeling. Back when I had a sig of me dressed up as catwoman, I'd get at least 20 PMs a day asking for more pics.

First of all, if mine memory serves correctly, wrestlers HAVE been on these forums. And since it was a female, she was pretty much run out soon after for obvious reasons (read: her boobies). Second of all, I'd at least like to think I'd be honest with that person regardless of who it was. Who?

Last I remember of Paul Bearer, he answered some question about Fanny Packs and got annoyed by guys who wouldn't stop about how gay they thought they were.

I still think it's possible for a wrestler to sign up here and NOT be annoyed enough to delete their account, etc. We could just ban the creepy people that PM them or ban pictures of the wrestler in signatures, etc.

We already DO have a rule regarding such a thing. Our rules page is a nice freindly warm place a lot of you guys should visit sometimes to avoid getting banned. I think I would join his side and make fun of the majority of the users here. Not to say that there aren't a nice bulk of intelligent posters, but for the most part there are nothing but idiots on this board. Unless I didn't like him. Then I would tell him off right to his face. What's he gonna do? You should read this one. Yeah, that's not flaming at all. Really. Honestly, while I respect the moderators here for keeping the peace, I think when people post topics all about Snitsky, or how they have this "amazing idea" that involves MST3K they should be fair game to bashing. I'd want it the same way if I started acting like a total waste of society. I know its the Internet, and it's not serious business, but would it hurt to try? Eh on second thought too late, forget my last statement. Also FYI to everyone, a number of Pro Wrestlers have joined this forum.

I'd be honest about my feelings. I'd give credit where it's due and state my dislikes where I dislike things. I really don't like Cena, batista or Orton's work, and I'd say so if they joined. However, I'd give them credit for the odd good match they've had. As for their personal attitudes, all reports of Cena say he's a ncie guy, I'd respect that. The Orton and Batista reports are the reverse, but reports can be wrong. I'd see how they were on the forums to build an opinion there.
If howwever, it was a guy I was a fan of, I'd praise the things about them I like. However, if there were things I didn't like, like the fact that RVD and Regal both messed up during big pushes, I'd politely inquire about it. If I didn't get an answer, fair enough.

a few wrestlers post here (i've had one match, dunno if that counts), but they're nearly all just local indy guys. that being said, human tornado and ricky ruckus make the odd post, as well as tenta like people said. crash, elijah burke and stevie have often mentioned the site, although i dunno if they ever went on the boards. personally, i don't think people should change their approach towards that performer, so long as they're making reasonable arguments. for instance, if a big star like cena came on, it'd be fine for people to say "i think you sometimes overact in your promos" (i don't think that, but alot do), however endless threads of "hey cena, u readin dis? yea, u suk lololololol!" would just be retarded. if i have an opinion, that's not gonna change just because the person the opinion's about is here. if anything, i'm more likely to talk about them in the hope that my constructive criticism helps them in some ways. i wouldn't suck up to anyone, nor would i mindlessly flame them, i'd just tell them what i thought of their work if it came up in a conversation, and other than that just treat them like any other poster.

I can't believe I missed it when Paul Bearer posted here. He's a guy I would love to talk to, he seems like a humble, friendly, down-to-earth guy.
I guess if any "big" names were here, half of the people (including me) wouldn't even believe them. In any case I would ask some questions since I live in Austria and so the chance to meet some of the guys in person is almost zero. In any case I would try to be respectful, even if it were Hogan or Michaels (whom I really don't like). I know if I were a "big name" wrestler posting here, I wouldn't tell anyone. I'd have to answer so many questions and PMs that I wouldn't have time to read and enjoy the rest of the forum. And if I didn't, people would hate me for disregarding the fans...

I know this is practically impossible, but what if an wrestler joined the WC forums. Then would we have to stop bashing them? I've heard that John Tenta posted in these forums. How do you know that wrestlers doesn't post here? For all we know, someone like Cena, Edge or Triple H can post on these forums. If Kurgan joined the board and posted a thread where he just said "Hi, Im Kurgan" it'd be 500 pages long and loaded with people saying he was one of their favorites back in the day. Who? If Kurgan joined the board and posted a thread where he just said "Hi, Im Kurgan" it'd be 500 pages long and loaded with people saying he was one of their favorites back in the day. What about Giant Silva? Who?

Some female wrestler named Lufisto. There were a bunch of people who had pictures of her in their signature. To say her time spent here was shortlived would be an understatement. I remember that time, it was creepy the amount of worship she got, not surprised she bolted out of here. I can only imagine the PM's she recieved.

I use Survivor Sucks as an example. Over there flaming is allowed and encouraged and pretty much everyone on the show gets roasted fairly well.
But then they some of the people from the show sign up on the board....
It becomes pretty much 95% ass kissing even from people who flamed them nonstop before and the 5% who stay consistent and continue to bash them get attacked for it even though they constantly complain about the board becoming wussier.
If that'll happen there, I'd say it's pretty likely to happen here considering flaming isn't allowed. In this case, the people remaining consistent would simply not try to communicate with the wrestlers instead of flaming them.
Once their identity was verified, their PM inbox would be in a constant state of FULL.
Any question and answer thread would have an insane amount of posts and the wrestler would probably give up on it due to a combination of being overwhelmed by the number of questions and annoyed at the number of repeats because there's likely to be at least 50 different questions being repeated 5 or more times each and if the people aren't reading the thread to know what has already been asked, then there's a good chance they aren't reading all his answers either.
Plus I'd imagine if someone "controversial" like say HHH signed up and had a question/answer thread with non kayfabed answers, even legitimate questions wouldn't be allowed. Someone would ask "Why didn't Booker T win at WM 19?" and all the ass kissers would attack him for trying to incite something when they have every right to ask such a question and more than likely the mods would side with the mob and all you'd be left with are fluff questions and butt kissing which would be boring as hell.

As creepy as some of those PM's were (and I don't doubt that for a second), she should obviously know that there's gonna be guys asking about boobs and crap. I know it's lowbrow and tasteless, but I've seen several pics of her basically with her boobs in her face. So if she can't handle some faceless keyboard pervs, how does she handle people at shows? She can't run away from that. Sorry, but I get sore at the Lufisto point.

I'm sure you've got plenty of people here who send those 2AM pm's to your inbox.
