I always remember something from an interview he did a few years back, taking about the time when he was the Hardcore Champ. Something like "I used to sit down with a garbage can in my hands, and stare at it trying to think of all the possible ways to use it in a fight." It's like the D-Von quote. D-Von sees Steve sat in silence, goes over to ask him what's up. Steve turns to him and very calmly says "I'm thinking of different ways to kill people." As a long time Blackman mark, before it became a fad here, this interview pleases me.

Blackman's whole story proves that Vince is a man of his word. He said he would hire him once he got better from his sickness. It took him YEARS to get better, and Vince hired him without him even working indies between his being sick and showing up in the WWF.

Awesome interview. My already high fandom of Steve Blackman just got higher after watching that.
