I had a popple stuffed animal when I was little. It was one of my favorite toys.

Kids playthings in the 1980s weren't anything unless they had a toy, a cartoon, a comic book, and apparently a live-action adaptation.
Some of these were just horrendous though. The Popples show for instance, or the Garbage Pail Kids movie and cartoon.

god I love these threads. While I didn't really have any of these things, was a tad too old for them at the point, the rush of memories is always grand to have flood my brain. I remember all that crap from those days, the Pound Puppies, Wrinkles, Foofur, Getalong Gang, Shirt Tales, Teddy Ruxpin...Even if I didn't have any of them, they were always so present on tv or books or at friends' houses.
