Is it really necessary to talk about Jeff's problems on TV? Can't they just leave that stuff behind the scenes where it belongs?

They mention everyone else's...I don't see why not if it gets him sympathy.
It's still tasteless but that's pro wrestling for you.

Triple H kinda came off like a total prick when he was talking about it this week. Not in a heat getting way like MVP did but more a dickish boss way.

If you don't want it to be talked about, DON'T DO IT! It's that simple, plus in my opinion it makes his soon to be title win (if he stays clean) bigger because he proved everyone wrong.

I think it'll lead to him getting the belt, not sure if it'll be on Sunday or not, but this has got to be going somewhere.

I think Jeff would have probably given his consent to talk about it on air.

I have a feeling Jeff was asked about it being ok. He prob felt he had to say it was to show he feels bad about messing up and now he's wanting to make a positive change.
I hope he gets the title within the next year. He deserves it.

I think it works for Hardy. It gives him motivation as someone trying to rise above whatever problems he's had to get to the top.

It's one thing to talk about the drug problems, but i don't like the fire/dog stuff. He must be OK with it though...

You mean like how Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler never mentioned Booker T's past indiscretions that resulted in incarceration? It seems that the only wrestlers who have their "problems" mentioned on air are those who consent to it.

Jeff's drug problems is the closest thing he has to an actual personality, so why not?

Yeah, he's just done a lot of things that got lesser people fired. like annihilate a hotel room. I would say though that there's no real way to parley Randy's problems into an actual angle save for "I art serious heel man", which wouldn't sell me on it anyway because...well yeah it's Randy Orton. Jeff's problems however can be mentioned both to build an angle and to sorta remind him that he damn well better not fall off the wagon again.

I really think they just keep bringing it up to hammer it into jeff to not smurf up again This. Jeff Hardy has always been his own worst enemy. He's perma-over, but everytime it seems like he's finally heading down that road to finally winning the big one, he screws it up.
