Beat him in the elimination chamber. Stole the victory last night. I'm sure there was another time, but I forget.
Anyone see it leading to Hardy Vs HHH at Mania...with Hardy finally capturing it?

Not Mania, but probably Survivor Series. They'll have the Trips Hardy feud at one of the big 4 there's no doubt. And Survivor Series is just a couple of months away. Have Trips feud with MVP going into No Mercy and then go against Hardy.

I think they are doing a good, old fashion slow build with Hardy.
I like it.
Plus, it's probably smart to wait and see if his demons are truly gone, rather then give him the belt fairly quickly and finding out he's still "sick".
I predict he'll get it before Wrestlemania. If not before, it will be because he was screwed a couple times in the ring. Then, maybe he'll get the Wrestlemania win.

Honestly, who WANTS to see Jeff as WWE champion? I'd rather have HHH.

Honestly, who WANTS to see Jeff as WWE champion? I'd rather have HHH/ To be fair, around Royal Rumble time when Jeff had his first title shot, a lot of people here actually wanted Jeff to win the WWE Title...at the same time knowing he probably wouldn't because they were building Orton up for Mania, and I think a lot of those same people lost faith in him after he failed his Wellness test. I know I did, but I hope Jeff gets another chance and doesn't drop the ball again.

A slow build is the only kind of build you can do with Hardy, just in case he decides to blaze up again.

Sad but true. hell I knew he wasn't going to walk out of Unforgiven as champ but they sure did a good job of making me almost think he might. Besides I think there's a lot you could do with a slow-burning Jeff/HHH feud.

Honestly, a year or two ago I would have been really excited for a Jeff run but now that I actually think about it, he's extremely meh to me personally. While I wouldn't be mad at a title run, I'm not exactly looking forward to it.

The only person who is ruining anything for Jeff Hardy is Jeff Hardy with his constant suspensions and drug problems.

Yeah, I'd rather not ever see that Hardy with a belt. The right brother's already got one.

If I had the book, I would think very seriously about never, ever putting the title on Hardy.
Yes, the man is over and he moves merch, but he could screw up at the drop of a hat. I really hope the guy gets his act together someday, but for now, it's way, way, waaaay too soon.
The company does NOT need another Van Dam-style embarrassment.

Yeah cause Randy Orton annihilating hotel rooms isn't an embarrassment waiting to happen. Sorry but this kind of logic isn't going to fly as long as they keep pushing Orton.

I'm sure that WWE would want that scenario to play out, but whether or not it doesn't is really up to Jeff and if he stays clean.
